  I stayed in room number 1 which was extremely small and noisy as it is right next to the lounge/breakfast room. there seems to also be a water leakage somewhere and there was a smell of moss in the room.

  We booked the room for 2 days. my brother decided to come with my husband and i and we requested for an extra bed - knowing that it would be charged but the person in charged asked us to check the room 1st if we really need any. apparently they have a day bed so big that 1 person could sleep comfortably on it. so we did not have to take any extra bed or pay any. that thoughtful gesture will make me come again!

  Doomlage que la dimension des cahmbres ne soient pas celle qui sont sur les sites cela fait deux fois que nous sommes décus par la dimension des chambres p lecureuil

  L'isolation sonore des fenêtres est très médiocre. on était contents d'avoir un supermaché juste en dessous de l'hôtel. l'hôtel est très bien situé.

  The bottle of champagne i ordered prior to arrival was not left in the room, and i had to go to reception and ask for it to be retrieved from the kitchen; a minor negative mark against the otherwise fantastic service

  Für frankreich sehr üppiges frühstücksbüffet. allerdings viel zu wenig sitzplätze. wir waren gezwungen außerhalb zu frühstücken, da alle plätze belegt waren und zudem eine warteschlange auf freie plätze wartete. ansonsten alles tiptop.

  En las fotografias de internet no se ven la cantidad de escaleras que hay que subir para llegar al hotel....y cuando vas con un bebè se agradece que te den una habitacion sin escaleras visto que el ascensor es de dimensiones muy reducidas.

  The fact that the access to the hotel is bound to be via stairs up and down does not make this hotel's location acceptable for people after a certain age. having said that, your good reception was great and i wish you good luck with a younger generation.

  La situacion de l'entree de l'hotel c'est impansable qu'un hotel de trois etoiles puisse avoir une entre comme celle de l'hotel du bois, en plus le jour ou nous arriver il pleuve et persone est venu nous aidez a prendre les valises. en plus l'ascenseur no funcioner pas enfin breve se n'est pas un hotel a recomander

  Notre séjour a été très plaisant grâce au charme des chambres et à la localisation géographique, à deux pas des champs elysees ! le personnel a été formidable en réservant taxi, moulin rouge et restaurant.

  The staff is friendly and speak both english and french. the classic room with a queen bed is of a decent size. the only not so good thing was that the air conditioner did not work the first night. but, i made the staff aware and fixed it right away.

  Great hotel, great location, would highly recommend! the only issue of the stay was the taxi to the train station that was ordered by hotel ripped us off by taking the very long way around.

  Hôtel très bien placé dans le quartier de l'etoile. la chambre et la salle de bain étaient impeccables. l'accueil sympa. une adresse à conseiller. le bémol est peut-être la salle du petit-déjeuner qui est petite mais la qualité du petit dej était très bien.

  Room is very good with new bathroom and tv etc, however the receptionist (man) who was in charge at our arrival was not friendly at all. (no smile!)

  I spent one night on this hotel and i had feeling that i am sleeping on road, the room is small and not at all insulated.

  Still would recommend this hotel since from what i hear can't expect much from hotels in paris. spent so little time in the room that location was more important than anything else. disappointed that they did not even have ice available. shower was incredibly small. felt like a cruise ship cabin.

  Great location and pleasant staff. i already have recommended the hotel du bois to others and would not hesitate to stay there again myself. the rates seemed reasonable for paris.

  The rooms were very small but clean and if you are on a budget the area around is quite expensive to eat, but it is easy to get to places from the hotel on the metro.
