  We chose the hotel based upon the location, which was great- we were able to walk to all the tourist sites we wanted to see- very close to the seine and the louvre. the staff were all friendly and helpful and spoke excellent english. the room was basic but clean with a comfortable bed. can't comment on breakfast as we didn't have it. this hotel is perfect if you want somewhere to sleep and shower a stone's throw from the sights of paris.

  Hôtel bien situé, dans une rue calme d'un quartier agréable, à proximité du métro. excellent accueil, convivial. literie de bonne qualité, éclairage de la chambre moyen.

  It is a very old hotel in need of refurbishment. very old furniture and fittings, but clean.

  The maintenance of the bathroom in our room is still due. around the bathtub lots of black fungus spots, the hose of the hair dryer is severely damaged and stuck together with duct tape. it didn't had a very clean look. though, the bed slept well, which was for us of main importance.

  Très cher pour un décorum médiocre. on paye le quartier mais la chambre est vieillotte et a beaucoup vécue. vraiment je ne le recommande pas !

  L'hotel è veramente in una posizione ottima, si riesce a visitare parigi senza la metropolitana. tuttavia le due stelle sono forse troppe per un hotel di questo genere, molto piccolo, la tapezzeria della camera che si stacca dalle pareti ecc ecc. e' consigliabile a chi utilizza l'hotel solo per dormire, e durante il giorno starsene fuori a visitare parigi.

  The hotel has great location (less then 300 mts from louvre, d’orsay and metro and train station). this is a small hotel, without the major facilities of resorts and etc. however, due to its location, it is perfect to sleep and take a shower. the employees are very friendly and always helpful. they all speak very good english. the room is clean and the bed is very relaxing. the hotel has the charming of old france. to me, was perfect!

  état général vétuste, de nombreuses petites réparations à faire (sèche-cheveux, baignoire écaillée, lampe qui ne fonctionne pas, porte serviette sur le point de tomber...)

  One negative which was disconcerting at first was the fact that the shower had been broken and was untidily and poorly held together with a badly fiitted length of wire. we chose to ignore this as the shower worked excellently with good hot water pressure. however, to a more "picky" client, too many brownie points would be lost. we chose this hotel because of its location, its age and its typically french decor and "tinyness". it had been recommended by a friend, and we were not disappointed! we will reccommend it in turn

  La poignée de la porte d'accés était dérériorée...impression d'un manque d'entretien évident.

  Vu proximité assemblée nationale oû nous devions aller, si l'hôtel est "vieillot" le rapport qualité prix et l'accueuil sont excellents

  The staff were very helpful and friendly and made our stay enjoyable. teh hotel itsself was small but full of charachter, fine if you are just using the hotel as a base to explore paris, if we had wanted somewhere to spend more time int he hotel then perhaps would reccommend somewhere with larger rooms. however, the location (1 minute walk from the louvre) was a fantastic base to see all the sights from
