  Outstanding hotel. i had a very enjoyable stay there. all of the little details added up to an wonderful experience: a) very friendly, helpful and professional staff (with excellent english), b) clean, comfortable room, c) excellent lighting (lots of lights), d) plenty of power outlets throughout the room, e) lemon-scented soap, f) refrigerator and mini-bar drinks, g) outstanding breakfast (and affordable), h) unlimited wifi with strong signal. of course, the location is excellent as well. ... i would certainly recommend this hotel and stay there again.

  Salle de bains très mal éclairée. impossible de s'y maquiller et difficile de se raser. sèche cheveux beaucoup trop haut (pour une femme de taille normale: 165 cm) et très peu maniable: il fallait se sécher les cheveux au dessus des wc tant le cordon était raide et loin du lavabo (chambre 307). par contre une chambre nouvellement refaite, très jolie et agréable.

  Ma chambre était très petite et j'entendais la tv des voisins ainsi que les passages dans le couloir - cependant l'accueil était chaleureux et l'hôtel est très proche de la gare st lazare. bien pour une nuit lorsque l'on est de passage.

  Hotel encantador, muy limpio y confortable, compensa el tamaño de la habitación, que aunque reducido, suficiente y muy conformtable. la ubicación es muy buena y bien comunicada.

  We booked a shuttle service from the hotel to the airport and agreed to pay euro 68. we paid the hotel euro 32 and was supposed to pay the driver euro 36. the driver insisted on collecting euro 44. i didn't have the time to argue and i also didn't have enough money left. so i paid the driver euro 42, which i think is very wrong in principle. there must be something wrong with the shuttle reservation system of the hotel. i am really not happy, even if it was a small amount. using the shuttle was the suggestion of the front desk lady and i was more inclined to just take a taxi which i am sure would have been better and cheaper.

  Die hotelzimmer haben einen kleinen safe, der aber nicht ausreicht, um z.b. einen laptop aufzunehmen. es gibt aber auch keine andere sichere aufbewahrungsmöglichkeit im hotel!

  J'ai eu un problème le jour du départ avec la réceptionniste. la veille déjà elle me disait qu'il était impossible de "réserver un taxi entre 7h et 11h du matin", après m'avoir demandé "pour aller où". le lendemain matin, avec beaucoup de mauva ise grâce et en raison de mon insistance puisque je n'ai plus bougé de devant son comptoir, elle s'est décidée à appeler une compagnie de taxi. j'ai dû lourdement insister car elle prétendait me faire prendre le métro avec mes bagages! elle a fait exactement la même réponse aux deux couples qui quittaient l'hôtel derrière moi. la première chose qu'elle demande est "pour aller où?" ce qui en principe ne la regarde pas et ne doit pas influer sur l'arrivée ou non d'un taxi.

  I've been visiting paris for 40 years and i think i have finally found a "keeper" hotel; i'm staying at the hotel on a return trip in may. ideal location just one block from major stores (les galleries, printemps, c&a) and one block from place madelaine (maison freres, fauchom, hediard, maille), frieindly staff, and very clean hotel. breakfast for 13e seemed quite expensive for what you got; i went across the street to la castellane patisserie and had tea and quiche for half that price, but it's a minor inconvenience. really good value!

  Très bon hôtel. malheureusement nous sommes arrivés alors que l'ascenceur ne fonctionnait plus (6 étages à pied) et le système de chauffage-climatisation était bruyant sans réellement fonctionner. sinon, bon accueil et excellent emplacement. a recommander.

  Die frühstücksprodukte fand ich geschmacklich wenig überzeugend. lebensmittel, wie naturjoghurt, die ausgingen, konnten nicht nachgelegt werden. so 'was ist doch schade, zudem das frühstück so wie so nicht viel auswahl geboten hat. das personal an der rezeption war sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich, beim frühstück sah es etwas anders aus - je nachdem, wen ich ansprach. das hotel ist ansprechend ausgestattet, doch sehr hellhörig. Über die klimaanlage (?) drang leider rauchgeruch in die flure. geschätzt haben wir die lage und die sauberkeit der räume.

  Points les plus positifs : situation géographique. on peut se rendre à plusieurs endroits touristiques à pied, champs Élysée (10 min. de marche), galerie lafayette, opéra, au bord de la seine. propreté de l'hôtel et de la literie fort appréciée. confort du lit aussi. accueil et service très professionnels.

  J'ai rencontré un petit problème"sanitaire",on m'a immédiatement proposé de changer de chambre. le "petit souci a été réglé dans la journée. grande disponibilité du personnel. un petit bémol, manque de place pour ranger ses effets( j'étais dans une chambre sous les toits)acceuil agréable, personnelsouriant. a recommander.

  Reception personnel was very helpful. but it was tough when its lift was outof order. we had to walk up to 6th floor!!! it was nice to have a terrace in our room. room was tiny for 2 person but the terrace was a big plus, especially during warm season. location was great. could walk around easily. several metro station were close within 5 min.

  Bathroom was exceedingly small. less a bath more a deep shower tray. also as usual there's this asinine notice about the towels. if they're serious about saving the planet then why not offer a discount for reusing the towels - after all they're the ones saving on laundry costs. why do we still have to fill in the registration fiche - surely that law ended years ago.

  There were no tea or coffee facilities in the room which would have been a very welcome sight. however, after reading the information sheet placed on the table (quite a while later), we could have collected a kettle from the reception for our free use. we were not sure whether this meant that we would have been given a tray containing all we needed to have a drink; would we have been charged for the tea, coffee, sugar and milk or had to buy everything from a shop. so being british, we went without! perhaps a sentence could be added on the information sheet to clarify the situation.

  Hotel charged me 5 euro more than was agreed at the time of online booking (678 euro for 6 nights instead of 673). i chose not to quarrel over such small sum. on the first night i got a room with the window almost completely blocked by the wall (# 102). didn't like it, so they gave me another room the next night. the second room was quite okay. otherwise, a clean and cosy hotel in great location. many famous sights, metro and rer stops in the walking distance. excellent connection to the charles de gaulle airport by roissybus. loved the free internet and electric kettle.

  I have never been in paris so i cannot compare room size with other comparable paris hotels. i suspect it's reasonably similar. my rating on room size is, therefore, mostly in comparison to north american hotels. however, we knew the room would be quite small and so we were most concerned with having a clean and safe room. we were absolutely happy with what we got! we could easily hear people in adjoining rooms but this was never a problem for us. we were never woken up or disturbed by others at the hotel. probably the only thing that was a bit of a problem for us was that we wanted a non-smoking room (which it was). however, the smoke from other rooms on the floor would seep quite strongly into our room. we ended up putting a towel across the floor at the door jam; this completely resolved the issue. i suspect this would be the same at many comparable paris hotels because the culture is not as non-smoking as we are used to in canada.

  Hotel in buona posizione situato in una via tranquilla, a due passi dalla stazione della metro madelaine. stanze non enormi ma non così minuscole come ho letto in altre recenzioni, confortevoli ben arredate e con aria condizionata,mini bar e tv color.   This hotel is a must for anyone looking for location, cleanliness, ambiance and value. we were able to catch the metro nearby and the area is very safe to walk around in during the day and at night. the staff was extremely eager to please us and very friendly. the furnishings were bright and cheerful and we were happy to have such a wonderful place to return to after an exhausting day of seeing the beautiful sites of paris.

  We came to paris for the weekend and had the most fantastic time, we were last arriving as our flight was delayed and we had no idea how to get from the airport to the city itself. we were pointed in the right direction for some food and a drink when we asked the porter even though it was 12.30am and a bank holiday night. anything we asked from any of the staff they were all very helpful and the cleaning staff always had a smile to share. the hotel is very central and catered for all of our needs and with a little butchers beside us we wernt left wanting anything more after our picnic along the seine

  Ero già stata nell'hotel nel 2005 ed ho scelto di tornarvi. sono rimasta soddisfatta della posizione dell'hotel e dei servizi: ho trovato negativo il rapporto qualità/prezzo per via delle dimensioni davvero ridotte della camera (singola): appena 50/60 cm al lato del letto, in tutto m 2x5. ancora più scomodo il bagno: gli asciugamani appeni in alto (a m 1,70 c.a) sopra il wc, la tenda per doccia a 50 cm dal muro, gruppo rubinetto compreso. dettagli, certo, ma capaci di compromettere la comodità della sistemazione. e soprattutto, in queste condizioni, un rapporto insufficiente qualità/prezzo. per il resto, nulla da lamentare.

  Séjour agréable (noel2007) sauf l'ascenceur qui fait bcp de bruit ainsi que le radiateur sinon il est correct chambre un peu petite mais le balcon ça le fait dommage qu'il faisait 5° par contre il est super bien placé cela permet de tout faire à pied pour les touristes.

  Chambre single plutôt petite avec un lit simple. salle de bain (douche) en bon état. principal défaut que j'ai constaté : lorsque l'on veut regardé la télé sur le lit, on a rien contre lequel s'appuyer le dos.

  Good location! you can access to most of famous spot by foot (opera garnie, concord sq, 2 famoust department stores etc.) small but nice room. it's great to have window i can atually see more than just wall. bathroom was tiny but it was okay.
