  Good location, nice clean rooms just a little on the small side but great for a one night stay. staff were friendly and helpful and i also stored my baggage here too. overall a good stay in paris.

  Excellent location, friendly staff. hemingway suite was quite large for europe and had an beautiful view of paris, including the eiffel tower! only suggestion might be to offer help with luggage (especially female travelers) to those guests staying on the 6th floor with no elevator access. overall wonderful experience!

  The hotel is almost on the boulevard st michele, making it very nicely situated and conveniently situated for reaching other parts of the city. a comfortable old building, far more pleasant than the modern hotels (in my opinion). we could hear the traffic but even with our window open, it was muted and absolutely no problem for us. we really liked it and would use it again. john c

  Paint the room, put a new [clean] carpet on the floor, clean up the bathrooms by putting in a shower door, convince the clients it is fire rated by changing the ridiculous sign on the back of the door "do not scream fire, if there is a fire" etc.

  J'avais demandé et réservé une chambre avec fenêtre côté jardin du luxembourg et on m'a donné une chambre avec vue sur cour intérieure. on n'a pas accepté de changer..

  El hotel estaba bien, bastante limpio y comfortable. la única pega es que la habitación era diminuta, y no hablemos del baño: parecía de juguete. de todas formas creo que esto es bastante usual en los hoteles parisinos. aún así, para unos días el beuvoir está muy bien. además es muy cómodo tener el metro justo delante de la puerta. the hotel was nice, clean and comfortable. my only objection is that my room was tiny, not to mention the bathroom: it was toy-sized. however, i think this is usual in parisian hotels. even so, the beauvoir hotel is fine for a few days. plus, it is very convenient to have the subway station right in front of your doorstep.

  L'hôtel n'est pas climatisé, dommage car les chambres côté rue sont très bruyantes, impossible de dormir fenêtre ouverte, sinon hôtel très bien placé à côté du rerb, propre, bon rapport qualité-prix.

  Très bon accueil. vue sur la station rer plutot que sur le jardin du luxembourg ou alors penché à la fenêtre. boulevard bruyand mais bonnes fenêtres isolantes. chambres toutesfois vetustes, peintures qui s'écaillent mais confort ok. cher pour la prestation mais comme partout à paris. bon emplacement pour se rendre au stade de france et quartier sympa alentours.

  Très déçue - le site web montre des photos de très belles chambres, qui semblent suffisamment spatieuses. mais en réalité, la chambre était minuscule et sans aucun charme. pas de sèche-cheveux dans la salle de bains; les savons et shampooing mis à disposition n'avaient rien à voir avec les produits de soins (de marque) indiqués sur les photos internet. bref, je me suis sentie abusée...

  Ottima posizione. stanze sufficientemente spaziose (singola) pulite ed arredate in modo semplice ma funzionale. peccato per la mancanza di climatizzazione. in estate le stanze sono calde e con le finestre aperte il rumore dalla strada disturba molto chi ha il sonno leggero. il personale é stato gentile.

  L'hotel è particolarmente comodo perchè vicinissimo al metrò. il personale cortese e buona la pulizia nelle camere. purtroppo l'isolamento acustico non è abbastanza curato(..forse perchè la mia stanza era vicina all'ascensore molto rumoroso)...ciò nonostante lo consiglierei ad un amico.

  Le manque de prise dans notre chambre : 2 1 pour la tv et 1 dans la salle de bain. l'ascenceur à réviser, la porte métallique qui se referme est très bruyante. sinon dans la globalité, cet hotel est très bien pour un week-end.

  Great location with some awesome hemingway history if you are a fan. room was very small, as was tv (no english channels, cnn, bbc) and no amenities.. right on metro/rer line b stop port royal so very convenient. close to st. germain restaurants and montparnasse shopping. front desk staff (am and pm) is a little surly, but helpful if prodded. read "moveable feast" to find out all the hemingway locations nearby.

  Une toute petite chambre avec un lit simple, c'est juste... tv située trop haut et donc fatiguante à regarder. cette chambre est accolée à l'ascenceur, donc bruyante. sinon hotel sympa et idéalement situé à port royal

  Bon accueil et chambres propres et bien tenues. chambre "single" petite: impossible de regarder la télévision sans se faire mal au cou. petit déjeuner cher et servi en reteard quand il est dmandé en chambre.malgré ces réserves, l'ensemble est quand même de bonne qualité.

  A single room at this hotel is very very small, but it was clean and quiet so suitable for someone who does wants to be out all day and just have a clean place to sleep at night. location was good...close to the heart of the latin quarter but a little far enough to avoid the noise of the area.

  I was in the suite hemingway. the room could be upddated to be more special. it has in incredible view but the lack of amenities in the suite was disappointing. the bathroom is tiny, as in the single rooms. the water leaked onto the floor from the shower - for the top suite in the hotel the bathroom should be upgraded! also, there are 2 beds - a sleeper sofa so i have a couch area to relax in would be better. this could be prepared if required to sleep additional guests. a bar fridge would be nice also. please consider getting an ironing board and iron for the hotel - clothes need to be ironed when travelling and for the suite, this should be a standard inclusion. it is expensive to have to send clothes out to be pressed a few blocks away. overall the hotel is in a fantastic location, it is very clean and pleasant but adding some more upgraded touches and services such as a computer in reception, and irons and ironing boards would make the stay more comfortable.

  This hotel is very loud, as most of the rooms have windows on the roadside which is a manin road. there is no air conditioning in the rooms. i had problems in sleeping. i had to change my room four times, twice because of the noise, once because of the electrical problems, and once because the warm water pipe in the bath room was suddenly torn apart and the warm water filled the bath room as well as the hotel room. people in the hotel are friendly, but this hotel needs a thorough renovation and upgrading.

  Suis partagé. j'apprécie la proximité de montparnasse. ce qui veut dire que l'hôtel est bien situé, d'autant que les différents moyens de transport sont au pied de l'hôtel. les commodités et services offerts par l'hôtel sont très moyens.

  Pour cet hotel la dénomination "suite" s'apparente à une chambre double sous les toits, avec des sanitaires dans lesquels nous pouvions à peine nous tourner. et la photo du site a été très bien prise, mais quelle surprise en ouvrant la porte! mais pas grave, quand on voit la détresse de certaines personnes, et que l'on peut passer 2 jours à paris pour les vacances...

  Bonne impression dans l'ensemble. un conseil quand même installer des joints dans l'encadrement des portes pour l'empêcher de faire du bruit quand il y a un appel d'air sur le palier. mauvaise surprise aussi d'être réveillés par je pense le téléphone de la réception à 1h30 du matin). sinon cela c'était plutot bien

  I read the comments of others before choosing this hotel. being a single traveler, i took my chances, and as it turns out, the public was right. the room was exceptionally small – 1’ between the bed and the small table, which was up against the other wall (small tv [with only 11 channels] suspends above the bed) - which isn't too bad (really, you're just there to sleep), but the small size of the bathroom was what got to me. the toilet was inconveniently placed in one corner making it nearly impossible to sit facing forward. heeding the advice of others, i skipped breakfast altogether - there is a boulangerie about 3 buildings down where i got delicious viennoiserie every morning for less than 2 euro. the best thing about the hotel is its extremely convenient location - right next to the rer, which is a straight shot to charles de gaulle, and seconds away from gardens. i can't say i would recommend this hotel heartily, but if someone is willing to take a chance, you might not be completely disappointed.

  Nettes preiswertes hotel ohne schnickschnack, knapp 15 gehminuten ins zentrum (notre dame, st. germain etc.), das zimmer in der 6. etage (mit blick auf die spitze des eifelturms) war schön. fahrradstation und rer (s-bahn) direkt vor der tür.

  I think that the hotel beauvoir is the best deal i have ever gotten on a hotel in paris. it is clean, comfortable, spectacularly well located, and the staff is friendly and personable. odile is very nice. all of this and yet you can stay for 70 euros a night. that is amazing. everything you need (the metro, the rer, food shops and flower shops, an internet access store, bookstores, you name it: they are all within a couple of blocks) is so convenient. i am returning in just two months!

  Negatives: das zimmer war sehr klein, einzelzimmer superior für 80€ bedeutete lediglich größeres bett; klamottenschrank war jämerlich, die dusche war winzig mit einem alten vorhang, wodurch das bad nach dem duschen immer unter wasser stand, wände und tür im bad sollte man öffters gewischen, die decke war alt und die tagesdecke mit paar flecken, tv hat immer wieder geschwankt wodurch man nachrichten nicht sehen konnte, man hat nachbarn mitbekommen positives: die lage war ziemlich gut, hatte ein balkon, das personal immer sehr freundlich und gab mir auch zuverlässige ratschläge zu einem kurzen ausflug, sprach englisch (leider kann ich kein französisch) ud bestellte mir problemslos taxi, unten im foley kann man gemütlich sitzen, und last but not least mein zimmer und badezimmer wurde jeden tag sauber gemacht, ich erhielt jeden tag saubere handtücherdie putzfrau, die ich begegnet habe sprach kein englisch war aber sehr freundlich, zusammenfassend: preis-leistungsverhältniss stimmt nicht ganz.

  Sehr freundliches und höfliches personal, sehr gepflegtes hotel und schönes ambiente, selbst wenn man bis mittags schläft, wird das zimmer noch in ordnung gebracht, auf sonderwünsche wurde flexibel reagiert. es ist das beste 2 sterne hotel in paris, dass ich kenne. absolut empfehlenswert wünschenswert wäre lediglichnoch, zum frühstück statt eines minicroissants eines in regulärer größe zu servieren.

  L'albergo è molto comodo per chi vuol visitare parigi ed essere vicino a tutto. appena fuori dall'albergo c'è la fermata della rer, ma dalle camere non si sente il rumore. le camere non sono molto grandi (ma a parigi sono tutte uguali) sono pulite e comode e il personale è molto gentile! l'unico appunto che devo fare è per la colazione...non c'è un buffet dove ti puoi servire o scegliere che cosa mangiare!!! puoi scegliere tra caffè, latte, thè e poi loro ti danno un succo di arancia, una mini baguette e due pezzi dolci con una marmellata!!! tutto questo è sufficiente la mattina, ma se uno vuole scegliere altro non può. comunque a parte la colazione l'albergo è consigliato vivamente a tutti!!

  The hotel beauvoir would do better to have a more welcoming and accommodating staff. i felt very oversighted on many instances and even insulted by the manner in which the hotel desk clerk and taxi driver communicated about myself and guest. clearly they were ignorant to the fact that although american, i am fluent in french. i am aware that nothing can be done to correct the behavior of the staff but maybe etiquette protocol should be revisited.

  Odile (à la réception) a tout simplement été adorable et disponible. nous avions une suite (au 6e) qui est suffisamment grande mais les petites chambres que nous avons vues sont très petites. les douches aussi d'ailleurs! le fait que nous soyons face à la rue et que les nuits étaient chaudes (début juillet), a joué pour beaucoup dans le fait qu'il y avait beaucoup de bruit puisque nous avons dû ouvrir les fenêtres. alors peut-être qu'une façon simple d'améliorer la qualité des nuits serait de fournir des ventilateurs...

  A pesar de una buena ubicación y de tener la estación del tren a la puerta (directo desde orly o cdg) el hotel me ha decepcionado. no hay ni aire acondicionado en la habitación, en pleno junio hay que abrir la ventana y al estar en una planta baja, recibir todo el ruido del tráfico en un cruce de dos avenidas, además del sonido del tren y la gente de fiesta por la noche. no tiene ni un minibar ni ningún detalle en la habitación, que es diminuta y un baño super básico además de pequeño. demasiado poco por 100 euros la noche.

  Hotel molto buono per chi deve andare in vacanza a parigi e quindi sta in giro tutto il giorno per la città usando l'hotel come punto di appoggio per dormire. confermo i suoi pregi che sono la posizione (vicinissimo alla fermata port royal della rer-b), la cortesia del personale e la pulizia delle camere; i suoi difetti sono la scarsa insonorizzazione e l'esiguità dello spazio nelle camere. inoltre il personale è presente ad ogni ora per cui si può rientrare a qualsiasi ora del giorno e della notte.

  We were here mid-april. i was warned that the room would be small, but we've stayed in smaller, more expensive rooms in paris. light sleepers should bring ear plugs. the hotel overlooks a major intersection and the traffic noise is to be expected. the trade-off is convenience. the room is stuffy with the sound-proofing windows closed and there was no air conditioning in our room (33). i would avoid the place in summer. if i was going to stay in the same area of town again, i'd consider returning.

  We loved the hotel beauvoir for it's location, cleaness and very friendly staff, who also speak english.we took rer line b from the airport cdg which brought us directly to the door of the hotel, which is right across the street from the rer station port royal. the check-in time is 3p.m. but when we arrived at 8 a.m. the room was ready and we received the keys right away. from our balcony we could see the entrance to the luxembourg gardens. the combination of rer, metro and buses is excellent and takes you anywhere you want to go. many thanks to the staff, who helped us with the orientation in paris. we most certainly would recommend the hotel to our friends, and will stay there our next time in paris.

  All of the front desk staff were very friendly and spoke english.they were very helpful with directions and happy to answer any questions we had. this hotel was right by the metro station pont royal and was a stop for a direct ride toand from charles de gaulle airport with no transfering necessary. great selection of bistro's for all meals very close. for a two star hotel this was great value and nice ambiance.

  Although the room was small, it was very 'boutique', nice and clean. the staff was helpful. the port royal station is in front of the hotel, but the metro connections mainly have to be made on the rer, then to the metro. the location is within a mile of the latin quarter/saint germain des pres, which is a plus. there are cafes nearby that are very quaint and nice. i would definitely stay there again.
