  Staff was friendly and accomodating. the location near the luxembourg gardens was convenient to the airport rer (though escalators for suitcases only go up, not down). the room was a little tight, in that french way.

  There is one major problem with this hotel and it is its internet service. i had some difficulty with it in 2010 and more difficulty with it on this trip -- i simply could not get access on my laptop. for the business traveler, this is impossible, and i would urge business travelers who need internet access not to stay at this otherwise excellent hotel until it changes its internet provider.

  Petit déjeuner : salle un peu exiguë quand il y a du monde ; on aurait aimé des oeufs brouillés/lard au menu. en dehors de cela, séjour très agréable.

  A very simple hotell in the heart of the latin qurter of paris, excellent location, but a quite simple hotell. it was clean and the ervice was absolutely acceptable. but the rooms were extremely small and the sound isolation poor. just for sleeping a night or two it is ok. but the room was too expensive.

  What a fabulous boutique hotel!! the room was a bit small... but it had plenty of charm and fabulous decor! the staff was extremely helpful with directions and reservations. the hotel was a very good price and had a great location. i would highly recommend this hotel to any of my family or friends.

  There should be some indication that the hotel is easily accessible by rer and that the station is luxembourg. very quiet room (30). excellent bed and bathroom. internet reception in the room was not very good.

  Adoro quest'albergo. bella posizione, piccole dimensioni, personale gentilissimo, attento, cordiale e discreto, molto capace (sia le/i responsabili della reception, sia le/gli addetti alle pulizie). la camera singola (con letto grande) è arredata con grande intelligenza: luminosa,elegante, senza orpelli, accogliente e molto funzionale. bagno bello e molto pulito. se si è in viaggio per lavoro la scrivania (ben posizionata e di buone dimensioni) e la connessione wi-fi gratuita sono utilissime. l'altoparlante supplementare del televisore posta nel bagno è una piacevole sorpresa. suggerimenti: un bollitore per l'acqua calda e una radio fm renderebbero perfetto un albergo eccellente.

  The hotel is quiet due to its location however the noise from the adjoining rooms can be quite loud. the hotel kindly gave us an upgrade on our room, and the hotel lobby is very cosy with the fireplace.

  Very nice quiet and cosy hotel, but breakfast could be better for the price of 13 euro. is interesting they put it seperate, so we don't have to take it. we normally don't take a big breakfast, just a coffee and a sandwich on the street, for hotels we use for citytrips.

  We were very pleased with the staff and accommodations. the concierge/desk clerk was exceptionally friendly and informative. he gave excellent recommendations for places to dine and have coffee. we walked all over paris and found the location to be perfect. it is within easy walking distance of many attractions and close to a metro stop for the more distant attractions. the whole experience made our first visit to paris all the better.

  The room was quite drab and i didn't feel that the air conditioning was working. the bathroom, though small, was very attractive and functional in a simple way. very nice. it would have been nice to have an alarm clock/radio in the room. also, the front desk was not very helpful in suggesting restaurants. when i inquired, i was given an address to go to, but the front desk did not ask what type of food, or ambience, i was looking for. on the plus side, the computer on the first floor was great, and i was able to look up restaurants online.

  Direi che l'hotel è incantevole. le stanza piccola, ma ben organizzata.molto comoda la possibilità di avere una postazione internet comune da poter utilizzare onde poter evitare di portarsi dietro un portatile quando i soggiorni di lavoro sono brevi. non ho espresso giudizi sulla colazione, ma semplicemente perchè non l'ho fatta avendo un appuntamento presto il mattino.

  Forgot my degital camera when i checked out, and called the hotel and asked to check the room. hotel called me back right after i came back to canada and thold me that they've found it. we were almost losing hope, so we really appreciate for the hotel in search for my camera. thanks!!

  Overall the hotel was very clean and nicely decorated although the size of the room was fairly small but comfortable. if you are one of those people that like spend relaxing time in the room, this is not for you however if you look for a clean and cosy hotel room to spend the night in after an exhausting touring day through the city, this comes just fine. the hotel is centrally located but a little far from other tourist attractions such as eiffel tower and charles de gaulle – Étoile but the walk to/from the hotel through the parisians streets is just fantastic or you can take the “rer” for that matter, luxembourg station is one block away. hotel employees are friendly people and willing to help. i’ll definitely come back.

  We stayed in clos medicis, paris, just before christmas 2007 and throughly enjoyed ourselves. the hotel location is excellent for leisurly strolls in the st. germain area, with pantheon and the medici gardens very close by, and great accessibility from the odeon and luxembour metro stations. a short walk brings you to an area full of bistros, cafes, cinemas, shops, art galleries, fruit stalls and so on. those who like to walk and absord the paris cafe culture would like the hotel location. the hotel staff is extremely friendly and helpful, had a nice little fire going in the small reception area, the free wi-fi internet worked very well in the room, and the room was clean. the only downside was that the room is not very large - so best if you are after a good location and clean room, rather than in-room luxury romps!

  L'environnement de la chambre était très calme et nous avons très bien dormi. le personnel est particulièrement attentif, gentil et compétent. le petit déjeuner était varié et le café digne de ce nom! un hôtel que nous recommandons chaleureusement.

  Die personal war sehr freundlich und hilfbereich. die sauberkeit der zimmer hat mir sehr gut gefallen. das frühstück war sehr gut, einbisschen teuer, kann man aber viel essen. insgesamt hat mir alles gut gefallen. ich würde gern hingehen und freunden das hotel empfehelen. Über den preis, war für mich lastminute.

  Would only recommend as a value hotel, rooms are very small (even for paris), but lobby is cozy and fireplace is great during winter. i asked desk repeatedly to fix heater .. it was never fixed to my satisfaction .. good thing bedding was very warm.

  The rooms are larger than i expected and the decor is upscale. beds are very comfortable. hotel staff extremely helpful and pleasant. very close to jardin du luxembourg and pantheon. i visit paris frequently and highly recommend this hotel for business people, couples, single travellers. the street side rooms become noisy at 830 to 10am. otherwise, hotel is quiet and very clean.

  I would like to commend a concierge named luigi. he was very helpful to my wife and myself and has a great attitude. he is very friendly and personable. my only 'complaint' was room size but i realize parisian hotels do often have smaller rooms. still, the hotel staff, and especially luigi, made up forthat and the location and cleanliness of the facility were very impressive.

  Pour moi un excellent hotel, dimension des chambres tout a fait raisonnable et surtout d'une grande qualité, en particulier sur la literie. situation parfaite et personnel très professionnel.

  Très bon hotel bien situé. le personnel est sympathique et accueillant. de plus parle correctement les langues étrangères au moins l'anglais ce qui est rare dans un hotel de cette catégorie. mais est ce seulement le cas de ma chanmbre ou pour toutes l'isolation sonore était très moyenne. de plus si j'occupais la chambre seule c'était ok mais en couple elle est beaucoup trop petite. est-ce une chambre réservée pour une single?je reviendrai dans cet hotel.

  I weas well aware that the rooms are very small and decided nevertheless to stay at the hotel because i liked the location, and the interior style. and preferred a small hotel to one of the bigger hotel chains. the breakfast room is very small when the hotel is fully booked and the weather is so bad that you cannot sit at a table in the courtyard

  Una preciosidad de hotel. m'he dieron la habitación "classique" (individual) y la verdad es que no pude pedir más. los hoteles de parís no gozan de mucha fama pero este desdeluego es una excepción. buen servicio, buen desayuno, buena localización y excelente habitación. un encanto.

  We'd loved the clos medicis, it has a very charming atmosphere with very nice tasteful furniture. after looking at the very appealing homepage i was a bit surprised how small it was. but it's paris and i've got accustomed to it. very nice is the location, 3 min. to the metro and opposite to the jardin de luxenbourg.i will come again...

  I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here. the staff were extremely friendly and helpful, and the room was cozy and comfortable. i would definitely recommend this hotel--especially to young singles and business travelers.

  Very nice small hotel. friendly, english-speaking staff with a warm, inviting lobby and a small bar that serves wine in the evenings. the location is okay, about a 5 minute walk to the closest metro stop and steps from shopping and dining.
