  Lovely hotel, ideally located for exploring paris by foot, bus, or metro. will definitely stay here again. loved the rooms with balconies.

  This was a really good hotel in a great location. tthe metro, restaurants, notre dame, the louvre, saint chappelle are all close by. the hotel is quiet, so even though air conditioning was in the room it was possible to have the windoows open instead and still be able to sleep without street noise or fumes. the staff were very professional and friendly. the free interenet connection was very welcome. the beds are comfortable, the water in the shower hot, good towlels. i would stay ther again

  Zimmer ohne tageslicht, fenster war zum lüftungsschacht :-((( statt einer reservierung über kreditkarte, wurde der gesamte betrag bei reservierung meiner kreditkarte belastet. sehr schlecht!!!

  Absolutely wonderful hotel!! staff was very, very helpful (was my first visit to paris). as well, location was great for walking (near museums, etc.) and/or catching the metro (for any other site seeing).

  The people at the hotel were very nice. one day we awoke to pounding and drilling on the wall behind the bed. the staff did not know what this was and said they would look into it. it appeared to be from the building next door to the hotel. when we checked later in the day, no one could tell us what happened and if it would continue. the next day there was no problem. otherwise our stay was uneventful and people were helpful.

  The location of the hotel is fantastic, we were within a short walk of the latin quarter, notre dame, the louvre, rue de rivoli shopping area and lots of bars and restaurants. only downside is a tiny shower in the hotel room in which the water would run very hot from time to time. if i were to bring my daughter i would request a room with a bath as these fluctuations would have been toohot for a child.

  The staff were wonderfully pleasant and helpful, the room was an excellent size and had good character, we had a great time even just relaxing at the hotel but could walk to 'everything' and will be recommending it to all our friends.

  This was actually my fifth visit to this hotel. so i know it pretty well, and obviously like it. the location is good for me, within a hort walk of les halles and the lovre, and there are some pretty good restaurants nearby. the staff are excellent, and last time i visited i had a glass of champagne on arrival, and no need to register, as they knew me. nice to be recognised, but they are good people anyway, the rooms are a delight, all different and all full of character, some resemble a 19th century bordello; some don't. i love the variety and it's a nice change from the more 'normal' places i stay. they are well-equipped, comfortable and the wifi internet is free. you get either a shower or a bath. i have yet to stay in any room where the maintenance is perfect, but there is never anything big wrong. generally i think it makes a tourist trip special, and alleviates the boredom for a business trip.

  One minor point is that the maintenance could be better. i have stayed the the hotel 4 times and each time noticed that small things have not worked or been fixed with the equivalent of gaffer tape. apart from that the fact that i have stayed there 4 times in 5 months is a good indicator of how much i like this quiet but flamboyant boutique-style hotel.

  We stayed in three but the top floor room was for two persons. with 3 baggages you can't even walk in the room. better the 2 places bedroom in the central floors. good service and very close to downtown.

  Central location. clean/friendly hotel. no my style, but can't complain at the price. only qualm was the plastic sheeting to protect the bed. made it a bit too hot to sleep for my wife.

  Unfortunately the strong euro made this stay in paris rather expensive. in other circumstances and with the excellent location, this hotel would have been value for money.

  We were in a family room for 4 but only had cups, coffee etc for 2. nothing was replaced during our 3 day stay. would have expected better from this quality of hotel. however, the location was great and staff were helpful. did find paris very expensive for 4 adults to eat and drink.

  The location is extremely convenient to major paris attractions. louvre, notre dame, orsay and the seine bateaux are within easy walking distance. the chatelet metro stastion is very close. we liked the fact that the hotel is a couple of (short) blocks off the seine river and the major streets - giving a nice, quiet environment in the evening. the bath room we had was very nice in size and convenience. we had a special rate that was available through fastbooking.com, and the value was excellent for such a great location in paris.

  Very, very nice hotel. the staff were wonderful, extremely friendly and very helpful. the room (107) was very nice. the shower would be tight for someone larger than about 5'10" and 170 lbs though. outstanding location. easy walk to the louvre, musee d'orsay, latin quarter, national opera, metro system, luxembourg gardens, etc. overall, a wonderful choice - we had a great time!

  In the very heart of paris , friendly stuff, very small but nice room with excellent bathroom. didn't have breakfast there but in a very good bakery just a few steps away. i'll stay in this hotel again, because sightseeing is so easy and pleasant if you don't have long distances.

  We felt very well in the hotel. the location is great and the staff welcome on our arrival was very nice. we arrived already before lunch, and as our room was not ready yet, we were offered a free coffee, what was very pleasant. the room was very small, but average for paris. we were prepared for that. i appreciate the staff considered our request for a quiet room and we really got a very quiet one. thank you for your service.

  Je le recommanderais pour l'emplacement. la salle de bain n'était pas de très grande qualité. en effet les prestations à ce niveau sont de niveau 2 étoiles tout au plus. la chambre qui nous a été attribuée était très petite et le chauffage très limite.
