  Negatives - there was mold in the shower and the paint was peeling off the bathroom door. i had to pay 10 euro for an adapter. i think the hotel should be able to lend them out and collect them. no weights in the workout room positives - wireless internet was free, very easy to access and very fast. concierge was extremely helpful. generally friendly and smiling staff. location is fabulous.

  The hotel is excellently located and the package offering provided a very fine room at a good price for a major european city. the reception staff had difficulties dealing with the issues and numbers of clients all demanding immediate service. a line system would be better.

  Le commentaire général qui fait baisser la cote de l'hôtel est au sujet de l'état d'entretien des chambres. la peinture qui s'écaille, le tapis viellit, aucun cadre, les meubles désuets...bref, comparer à des hôtels 4 étoiles, plus léchés c'est l'élément manquant pour que je recommande cet hotel. car la balance est super positif. la dÉco ca presse !!!!

  Its never a four star hotel. service was slow, carpet had holes in the ground. twice we were asked to pay for breakfast, even though it was included in arrangement.

  L'hôtel est très bien situé (rue de rivoli face au jardin des tuileries entre le louvre et la place de la concorde). et comme c'était une période calme (fin janvier), ils m'ont gentiment upgradé. compte tenu du prix spécial via le site hotels-paris et l'upgrade, le rapport qualité/prix était évidemment excellent. j'étais globalement très satisfait.

  Für ein 4-sterne haus war die dekoration und ausstattung des zimmers sehr schlecht. keine garderobe, schlechtes licht, billige möbel, keine bilder oder sonstige dekoration. das zimmer war - obwohl es groß und renoviert war - geeignet, eine depression zu bekommen! im business center funktionierte der drucker und die heizung nicht. bei kalten außentemperaturen herrschte eine raumtemperatur von unter 18 grad - keine gute arbeitsathomosphäre!

  Attente d'une heure dans le hall alors que le check in est sensé être à partir de 15h...la chambre n'était pas prête. quand on est retourné vers l'accueil ils nous ont donné la carte d'accès à la chambre et on n'a pas eu le droit à être accompagné ni à recevoir une présentation de la chambre. la suite était superbe, par contre la peinture de la porte de la salle de bain était défraichie et la brosse des toilettes collante. on nous a donné les horaires de la piscine spécifique au week-end alors on n'a pas pu y avoir accès le lundi matin car les horaires sont différents en semaine mais on ne nous l'a pas précisé. on nous a dit que les informations qui étaient notées avec la carte d'accès à la chambre étaient fausses et de ne pas en tenir compte. je déconseille fortement cet hôtel, nous en avons eu une mauvaise expérience.

  The location was fabulous. the service wonderful. but we were in a duplex suite,room 242 and the walls were terribly marked the rug was stained beyond belief, and there was mold on the bathroom ceilings above the shower! they should be ashamed to rent a room in that condition a new coat of paint and new rugs and that hotel would be perfect!!!! in that condition a room should not be rented for 345 euros a night!!!!! i must comment that every person we came in contact with was helpful, polite and made us feel welcome.

  The larger rooms have not been renovated, so they are very old and in disrepair. there were two large holes that had been cut out of the drywall and the cut piece was sitting in the wall without any additional support. the heat vent was located high on a wall and it fell out one night onto the floor. terribly outdated.

  We were initially given a large room with very dirty carpet in poor condition - the curtain rod came off the wall when the window was opened we were given a better room when we expressed our concerns - staff was very courteous

  Ch 530 : peinture dans le wc cloquée et il manquait 30 cm² de peinture !! canapé sale, tâché et troué par une cigarette et la porte vitrée du bac à douche ne fermait pas correctement, donc la porte de jour pas son rôle et il y a de l'eau qui s'écoule dans la salle de bain. j'ai signalé tout ceci sur le questionnaire de satisfaction de l'hotel. par ailleurs, il voulit me facturer le pdj, hors il était inclus dans votre offre. cela fait beaucoup de désagrément pour un 4 * à paris.

  La toilette n'a été nettoyée proprement. j'ai du attendre 3 heures et faire 3 coups de téléphone parce que il nìy avait pas de savon dans la toilette. la moquette dans la chambre était sale. par rapport a' la qualité de la chambre l'hotel n'est pas un 4 étoiles.

  Le hammam et le fitness n'étaient pas utilisable pour cause de travaux alors que ces prestations étaient annoncées sur votre site. il n'est pas normal de devoir payer un supplément pour l'expresso au petit déjeuner dans un hôtel de ce standing. réception: excessivement lent. bar: personnel aimable mais ne sachant répondre à aucune question.

  We received a warm welcome as soon as we arrived at the st james and albany hotel and spa which continued until we checked out. our room was spacious and the view, fantastic. the location of the hotel couldn't be better. everything we wanted to see was either within walking distance or a short taxi ride away. the hotel staff were certainly committed to makng our visit a memorable one.

  Nous avons passé un excellent séjour à l'hôtel st james & albany. nous avons apprécié le professionnalisme à tout épreuve du personnel (accueil, restaurant petit déjeuner, room service, ...) et son extrême gentillesse et amabilité. malheureusement, l'hôtel était en travaux (restaurant fermé) pendant notre séjour. cependant, nous y reviendrons avec plaisir. nous (2 adultes - 2 enfants) y avions occupé une suite (full duplex) aux dimensions généreuses et agencée avec goût et des plus agréables (zones de convivialité, zones repos, 2 salles de bain (bain et douche) spacieuses, 2 dressings, etc... seul petit bémol : moquette tâchée dans la zone d'entrée,

  Die rezeption ist "kalt" und unfreundlich (nicht das personal). der lange weg durch bars, aufenthaltsräume etc. bis zum lift ist nicht einladend. der "spa" sollte nicht so genannt werden. es ist ein hallenbad, das dringend der renovation bedarf, und eine dampfkabine, die nie den namen hamam verdient. der "spa-bereich" ist einwenig schmuddelig.

  Not nice to walk to spa through the lobby wearing lounger. fix the elevator, which takes you from the floors to spa. no clear instructions, that you should get key form spa clerk for the wardrope in the dressing room. in the spa, there were missing the soap in the shower.

  Helas pour un hotel de ce standing, la note est plutot mauvaise, la chambre outre son aspect esthetique a mon arrivée était gelé (fentre grande ouverte au mois de janvier) avec un systeme de climatisation qui n'a jamais pu rechauffé la chambre. la qualité de la literie est digne d'un deux etoiles avec 2 matelas "collés" l'un à l'autre pour en faire un lit deux place!!!! aucune information à l'acceuil sur le fait que le restaurant était fermé lors de la reservation d'une table pour le diner, ce qui nous a amené a diner au bar!avec une qualité des mets totalement catastrophique et un des choix des plus limité. il est donc totalement exclu que je retourne dans cet établissement et encore moins que je le conseille. je suis particulierement decu de mon sejour . y gomri

  The room was clean and enough size as superior. the site from the window was not so good but very quiet. unfortunatelly, due to the strong eur, the price was a bit surprising but who can blame at... just the bath room is only with shower was negative point.

  Pour une suite c est desolant d'entendre les bruits du couloir por ce qui est de l'accueil a peine un bonjour par contre la gentillesse du personnel de nuit etait exelente. petit dsagrement la reception de la telé dne fonctionnait pas on en a fait la demande on attend toujours reparation. dommage pour un etablissement de ce genre et je parle en connaissance de cause car je sui moi meme hotelelier.

  The staff was generally friendly and tried hard but there was not enough staff to handle the guests. also our romm had a horrible sewage smell that required us to keep the windows open for long periods of time to clear out the smell despite the cold weather.

  The st james & albany was extremely solicitous about my comfort - i found my initial room a bit small for a 'deluxe' and they immediately and very graciously upgraded me to a junior suite. the facilities were excellent and the staff very polite and professional. i would not hesitate to go there again.

  We were a family of 5 with three adults and two small children. we got a family room and were very satisfied. the room was ready shortly after our arrival and the size was exceptional. we were well taken care of and would stay here again. the location was great as well.

  Dommage que la piscine thalasso ferme à 18h00. lorsqu'on se rend à paris, c'est en rentrant et avant le souper qu'on peut en profiter et pas de chance, c'est fermé

  Good hotel for the price and well located with good amenities. however, the bed in the standard room was terrible - springs coming out from the mattress and the blanket on the end of the bed was scruffy. for a little bit extra, the hotel could easily upgrade the beds with simple but cleaner looking blankets. otherwise no complaints.

  Most enjoyable experince the location of the hotel is perfect for seeing the centre of paris. the staff were very friendly and helpful. enjoyed the experience immensly. highly recommend it....

  Somos una familia de barcelona que nos alojamos en el hotel saint james durante la semana de navidad de 2006. la experiencia ha sido fantástica y el paquete familiar excelente en todos los sentidos. las instalaciones y el servicio del hotel saint james son impecables. la junior suite en la que nos alojamos tenia dos alturas, con baño y aseo y había sido recientemente renovada. la ubicación del hotel es inmejorable y el desayuno bufet ofrecía un gran surtido de exquisitos quesos, pasteles y una bollería estupenda (la mejor que degusté en mi estancia en parís). por todo ello recomendaremos este hotel para cualquier estancia en parís.

  El edificio es precioso, pero le falta remozarlo algo, esta un poco descuidado de detalles.
