  The hotel looks like it was nicely decorated but is now a little tired. there were a few stains on the carpet and the bathroom was not that pretty. the staff were welcoming and the location was good.

  Man muss wissen, dass es sich um ein stadthotel in einem haus aus der gründerzeit handelt. dementsprechend sind die zimmer, die fenster, die isolierung und die geräusche. den fahrstuhl direkt neben dem zimmer haben wir erstaunlicherweise nie gehört. das hotel hat viel charme und man wohnt in einem netten quartier von st. germain. für typisches parisfeeling ist gesorgt und deshalb kommt man ja schließlich hierher. wir würden jederzeit wieder hier logieren, denn die metro ist super gut erreichbar und man kommt auch zu fuß gut weg (montparnasse, st. sulpice etc.) - wir waren bis notre dame zu fuß.

  The reception staff were very helpful. the breakfast was expensive. the room overlooking the main street suffered from street noise.(however i could have changed). the internet cable was (including weekend) to replace it. no wi-fi in the rooms

  Séjour en amoureux. hôtel très cosy, propre et personnel sympathique. la salle de bain est très spacieuse. l'agencement de la chambre est très bien fait. internet, baignoire, sèche cheveux (...), tout est fait pour qu'on se sente bien. vivement recommandé!

  Staff were great and helped a great deal. lost internet for three days which forced long distance calls to london $$$. shower very small and tight with loose connection for hand-held attachment. remote did not change channels on tv, only worked for volume control. bathroom door jamb needs painting

  La propreté des couloirs et des escaliers laissait à désiré. il est aussi étonnant que l'ascenseur ne rejoigne pas les étages 5 et 6 ou se situait mas chambre. avec des valises lourdes c'est très désagréable.

  La atencion del hotel, (especialmente del conserje nocturno), ha sido excelente, de gran calidez y compromiso por la atencion al cliente), hotel muy limpio, bien ubicado y de buenas instalacio nes. muy recomendable. unico detalle el ascensor no llega hasta el quinto piso.

  Me ha gustado bastante el hotel. lo mejor es el buen gusto de la habitación, ha sido exactamente igual que la que aparece en internet, muy acogedora. y la localización de hotel estupenda, céntrico y a poca distancia de los puntos turísticos.

  We loved the hotel's walking distance to many of the attractions we visited including notre dame,the latin qtr.,musee d'orsay,louvre and tuileries. food stores close by, not to be missed the bon marche epicerie. my fourth visit to paris and the best hotel stay.

  We arrived very early and staff made every effort to get a room ready for us. it wasn't the side of the hotel we had requested but after a long flight somewhere to lie down was extremely welcome. staff were also very helpful with advice re tours and restaurants in the area.

  The room needs to be overhauled in terms of paint. some furniture needs to be repaired. the cables to the tv and the modem needs to be put into order, looked shabby i must say. but most of all new windows should be fitted since the noise from the street was so loud that i felt like i was actually sleeping on the street, rather then in a room on the 3ed floor. hotel staff was excellent, very helpful and friendly. the staff is also the only redeeming factor for this hotel. the noise level was unacceptable and i would not stay there again so long as the noise level remains the same as during my visit.

  La recepcioniste, malika, une vraie perle.efficace, gentille,professionnelle.a elle seule,elle reussit à effacer les inconvenients de l'hotel en ce qui concerne l'accès internet ,imprimante, bruits...elle estompe le souvenir d'un collègue assez rébarbatif pour ne pas dire, vraiment insupportable.hotel génial, nous y reviendrons et reccomanderons vivement.

  Notre chambre etait situee au 6eme et dernier etage alors que l'ascenseur ne desserve que jusqu'au 4eme etage. il aurait ete appreciable que l'on soit informe de ce desagrement, car avec des enfants en bas age, c'est de loin pas pratique!

  Ma chambre etait tres bruyante, le sechoir a cheveux ne marchait pas et, bien que je ne sois restee que 2 nuits, la poubelle de ma chambre n' a pas ete videe! compte tenu du prix et du fait que cet hotel est soit disant un 3 etoiles, cela laisse quelque peu a desirer!

  This hotel was our first night in paris and let me tell you it was amazing, i only wish i could have afforded more nights in tis luxurious hotel. the room-service was just excellent and the size of the room was spectacular. europe is known for having small bathrooms in the hotels, but the bathroom was just spectacular. we were tired when we got in and had to sleep right away but when we woke we had to make the bed again just to take pictures of the beautiful room. also the neighborhood was just gorgeous, and our room had a balcony that looked out onto the street, that was a nice treat. i would recommend this hotel to anyone who was staying in paris.

  Insonororisation insuffisante (métro, bruits de la rue, plus chambre à côté de l'ascenseur). c'est la raison principale qui fait que je ne recommenderais pas cet hôtel, malgré son emplacement pratique, sa remise à neuf et son service accueillant.

  The hotel was a disappointment . the room was reasonably appointed and very warm . the bathroom was good but in need of decoration and the toilet needed cleaning.the hall outside our room and staircase to the ground floor was grim.the carpet was filthy and covered in paint. there was rubbish outside our room for 4 days and a spare bed folded up for 2 days.

  Cet hôtel n'esr recommandable qu'à conditions de bénéficier d'une importante réduction sur le prix des chambres : les chambres auraient besoin d'être refaites ; la propreté est plus que douteuse (les peintures sont sales, il ya de nombreuses taches sur la moquette, la housse de couette est complétement chiffonée, de surcroît mal ou pas lavée) ; les équipements sont limites (ascenseur jusqu'au 4e étage seulement)... a 86,00 euros la nuité en chambre double, c'est à peine acceptable, n'est que la situation géographique pour faire passer la pillule.

  We staied 4 nights at the vaneau hotel. the location is good: near metrostation and by walk near to many places of interest (museau d'orsay, pl. de la concorde etc), the hotel is quite old, and not so nice like in photos! our room was noisy because of delivery of goods to the near supermarket early in the morning (6.30), however is a small and clean hotel good price.

  Though the hotel was ok, the bathroom were in need of updating and needed to be a bit more clean. the location was farther out, which would not have been a problem if hotel staff could offer more assistance and could have explain the train/tube system. parking was a nightmare, we needed to take a 10 minute train ride to and from our parking garage and parking was $30 for one day. it was also difficult to find the hotel after we finally found available parking,which was a half hour to forty five minute process. it would have also been nice if staff could speak english or german. breakfast was very pricey considering it was 86 euro a night, without breakfast.

  Hotel vaneau was excellent for our christmas vacation. the hotel is charming and located close to banks, post office, pharmacy, shopi supermarket (v. good), small shops, bakery, take aways and most of all vaneau and duroc metro. it s also a beautiful residential area. enjoyable walks. the staff is great too. couldnt ask for a better location. highly recommended. dr june evans, aberdeen, scotland, uk

  Location is decent and 2 minute walk to metro station, but very very hard to find parking (street parking only). room & bathroom are very spacious, which is a big plus. but the bed spread has a torn, which gives me the impression of poor-kept facility.
