  The room was smaller than we expected, and had problems w/ the air conditioner. however, the concierge accomodated us by putting us in a different room w/ an air conditioner that worked. the staff on hand were always very friendly and helpful.

  Should have been made aware of renovations/construction on building next door, as the noise in early morning was a bit disturbing. hotel itself is in a great location, good price/quality.

  Very very good location. nice cute and cosy parisian hotel. the service is also very good. the only thing is that the rooms are a bit small but its normal for the location (old paris)

  Noisy in the mornings around about 5am due to din men,this lasted for about 15min's.but the hotel itself was in a great location and the canadain bar at the end of the street was all so great for a drink.it was our first time in paris and loved it.....but expensibe!

  Very good choice of hotel. size(particularly of the bathroom and elevator) miniscule. but exceptionally helpfull staff ( particularly the receptionist) who went out of his way to get us resurant bookings etc. would certainly stay again.

  Rooms are on the small side but an excellent hotel all the same. the best experience i've had in paris at the price.

  Overall the hotel was perfectly fine and although i had lived in france for three years 20 years ago, i was expecting more space and services in this "boutique" hotel for the amount of money that we paid. we booked a suite because of the advice of other reviews and the bathroom was adequate and the space included a small sitting area off of the bedroom, but total square footage would be the size of an average hotel room in the united states. the location was absolutely awesome and amazingly quiet given all of the action around the hotel. the staff was quite pleasant and willing to help with any request. there usually was only one person on duty at all times so there is no real concierge. there are no real amenities that you might expect in a hotel such as health facilities, full concierge service, restaurants,etc. overall the hotel is quite nice and if you desire a boutique hotel that is quiet in the latin quarter, this may be ideal, but expensive.

  Overall, we were very pleased with the hotel. the location was excellent, within easy walking distance of notre dame, saint chappelle, the louvre, the sorbonne, the pantheon, and a wide variety of restaurants. the room was lovely and quite comfortable with a queen size bed, writing desk, small sitting area, and very small tv. the bathroom was small but definitely adequate. and everything was clean and well kept. not much to the hotel besides the rooms. but all in all, i would recommend this quaint and cozy hotel to anyone looking for a nice place to stay with a very parisian feel and a great location.

  Es ist ein wirklich schönes hotel, dass auch gut belegen ist. notre dame ist direkt um die ecke und auch andere sehenswürdigkeiten befinden sich in fußläufiger distanz. sowohl an der freundlichkeit des personals, als auch an der sauberkeit des zimmers ist absolut nichts auszusetzen. nur halte ich das preis-leistungsverhältnis für etwas verfehlt. ich war bereits häufiger in paris und hatte für deutlich weniger geld eine zumindest vergleichbar schöne unterkunft.

  Hotel molto molto chic!se cercate qualcosa di bohemien in perfetto stile francese andateci!in pieno san germain,in una vietta tranquilla!raffinato ed elegante come pochi ma senza mai ostentare. parlano italiano.ottimo anche per le coppiette:) consiglio la junior suite.. cara ma merita!!

  Lovely, welcoming staff. very helpful and gracious, assisting with restaurant and shopping information in a very diligent manner. delicious breakfasts that were certainly worth the price, as compared to the paris sidewalk cafes. beautifully decorated, very stylish lobby and common areas. we were very well cared for there. neighborhood a bit noisy, but not the fault of the hotel.

  We enjoyed our stay very much. two things i would change: the air conditioning was noisy to the point we could not run it at night. the other is that the bath linens decreased at the end of our stay. the last night we had only towels, no robe or bathmat or wash cloth. out of 5 nights, we only had all of the linens the first night.

  I would not qualify the hotel as a 4-star hotel and the price was very high for the size and quality of the room. while it appeared to be on a small, quiet street, the street the hotel was on was actually very noisy all day/night. the sound insullation was good but we couldn't open our windows nor could we control our own air conditioning. the location relative to restaurants, metro stop, and sites was good.

  We were extremely delighted with the hotel. the only issue was that there was quite a bit of late night street noise. i would simply ask for a room at the back next time i come. i will definately return to this hotel1

  Poor service at breakfast resulted in the staff crediting thecharges our meal. shower door broken and shower drain clogged. staff very friendly and helpful; room is beautiful. you have a lovely hotel.

  I have been to paris many, many times and this hotel was the best by far in my opinion for the price range. it was in a great location and the hotel had a very "french", calming/quiet and homely ambience. the staff could not have been more obliging. the room was small but very clean and simply lovely.will surely return next visit to paris!.

  13 euros pour le petit déjeuner par personne, je trouve cela un peu excessif, sachant que nous avons payé une suite à 315 euros la nuit. j'aurais pensé que le pdj serait offert. sinon très très belle chambre ( n°45)

  We enjoyed our stay in this little hotel very much. the standard double room was small, but clean and very cosy. the staff was very helpful and friendly. the location of the hotel - two steps away from st. michel - station is great.

  We so enjoyed our stay at hotel relais vieux paris. the staff was warm, helpful and very kind. we upgraded the room to a suite on arrival. the suite is closer to the size of regular us hotel rooms. the hotel has been recently re-decorated throughout, and our room was a beautiful red toile, with the original ceiling beams (from 1680) exposed. very lovely!! the marble bathroom was very modern and quite comfortable. wireless internet connectivity was spotty in the room, but available in the business center off the lobby. we'd recommend the hotel most enthusiastically. it is well located, 3 blocks from notre dame and 1 block to the st michele metro station. we intend to visit paris again and will return to the hotel relais!
