  Es war unser erster besuch in paris. dieser wurde durch das hotel noch schöner und angenehmer! wir wurden vom anfang bis zum ende mehr als freundlich aufgenommen! dafür ein großes "merci"!!!! das frühstücksbuffet ist mehr als zu empfehlen! da stimmt das preis-leistungsverhältnis mehr als bei den umliegenden cafe´s! unsere zimmer waren sehr sauber (wir hatten 3 zimmer)! von der lage ist es ebenfalls super zu erreichen! von gar de nord und von gar de est sind es 10 minuten zu fuß, und bis zur seine sind es 5 metro-stationen! mehr kann man für diesen preis nicht erwarten! es liegt im gegensatz zu anderen hotels in der umgebung nicht im rotlichtviertel (mit kindern nicht ganz unwichtig!) wir kommen wieder! verpsrochen!!!

  Nos reponses relatent le tout , sachant que les chambres a coté de l'ascenceur sont a eviter...trop de bruit... pour le petit dejeuner(buffet) des fruits seraient a suggerer ainsi que des oeufs aussi bien , coque que mollets voir au plat avec bacon ..sinon , une reception , accueil et bar tres sympathique..

  Hôtel mal situé. accueil peu commerçant (on ne trouve pas ma réservation). la chambre sentait la cigarette. le carrelage de la salle de bain présente de nombreuses traces de moisissure. chambre non insonorisée. enfin qualité du petit déjeuner n'est pas à la hauteur.. grosse déception

  The hotel people are so friendly and helpful, the spacious room has been also cleaned everyday with new towels. very close from metro, bar for coffee and bread shops & super market. everything in walking distance, i will definitely come back there.

  Die einzige kritik: die zimmer sind sehr hellhörig. von den anderen zimmern hört man die geräusche sehr genau. allerdings ist es nachts erstaunlich ruhig, und man kann sehr gut schlafen.

  El pequeño ascensor me hizo dudar pero la habitación doble de la planta superior era muy grande :-) así que entre estar arriba y que la calle es tranquila pues se duerme bien. el metro está al lado aunque no sea la mejor línea ni el mejor barrio.

  Ottimo hotel, rapporto qualità/prezzo davvero eccezionale per parigi. camere spaziose e pulite, l'unica pecca è che non erano molto insonorizzate. i proprietari erano davvero gentili e disponibili, io e mia moglie ci siamo trovati benissimo. consigliato per tutte le categorie di persone; a due minuti dalla metro.

  Les gardiens de nuit sont tous très serviables et agréables, l'hôtel situé dans une rue calme permettrait de se reposer après des journées de séminaire, si l'isolation phonique était efficace!impossible de suivre une émission en français à la télé, elle était couverte par le jt en allemand de la chambre voisine!obligation d'allumer la télé tard afin de faire un contrebruit. j'aurais voulu disposer de l'internet (mails) sur place sans devoir voyager avec mon pc, mais pour le reste, c'est vraiment une bonne adresse, à recommander.

  Ganz hervorragendes hotel in guter und zentraler lage: zu fuß vom gare del`est gut zu erreichen, bus und u-bahn ebenfalls in der nähe. frühstück im hotel nicht nötig, bars in der nähe, für`n cefe&croissant reicht`s auf alle fälle. für `ne städtetour absolut empfehlenswert. man sollte übrigens zwei getrennte betten buchen (1. mehr platz, 2. zwei bettlaken/-decken :-) ). sauberkeit akzeptabel (so ist das halt in frankreich), der aufzug ist viel zu klein, also koffer rein nur hochkant... aber wie gesagt insgesamt für städttour genau richtig. hotelpersonal sehr freundlich, spricht teilweise deutsch, auf jeden fall aber auch englisch.

  Molto apprezzati: il servizio di deposito bagagli la tranquillità della zona, pur essendo centrale la comodità di raggiungimento dei luoghi di interesse, sia a piedi che con i mezzi pubblici non si è optato per la colazione in hotel, in quanto giudicata troppo cara rispetto al servizio proposto (12,00 euro a persona al giorno; la colazione nella pasticceria all'angolo è costata al massimo 4 euro a persona al giorno)

  Les rideaux ne fermaient pas, j'ai dû les accrocher avec une de mes pinces à cheveux. la peinture est écaillée et il y a de grosses fissures sur le mur de la salle de bain. le rideau de douche est sombre et ne laisse pas passer le peu de lumière qu'il y a dans la salle de bain. on entend les voisins de chambre comme s'ils étaient dans la nôtre.

  Pas de coffre-fort dans la chambre, pas de téléphone, une petite penderie ouverte, mais sans tiroir. le personnel tape et rentre dans la chambre sans attendre notre accord. quant à l'isolation sonore des chambres : on entend tout. mignon petit hôtel, propre, mais trop cher si prix des chambres à 100 %.

  Le pont positif essentiel etait l'existence de chambres fumeurs. mais la television ne marchait pas correctement, il n'y avait aucune chaise dans la chambre, pas de rideau ou autre pour la douche, il y avait un probleme de fermeture de fenetre dans ma chambre, donc il fesait froid. le lit n'etait pas confortable egalement. je ne pense pas que ça soit digne d'une hotel 3 étoiles. j'attendais egalement plus de choix concernant le petit déjeuner. je suis par contre satisfaite par l'acceuil et le travail general du personnel et les infos données. concernant la question 4 la reponse est ça depend de la personne et de ses priorites, donc ni oui ni non.

  The room is quite basic, but not really comfortable: "just good enough", same for cleaning and bathroom. sound insulation from the street is good, but very bad from noises from other rooms and the hotel hallway. the elevator is very small, but big enough to move the luggage up and down (with or - better - without human passengers). the reception staff is friendly. the neighbourhood of gare du nord is not good, but improves while walking towards the hotel. recommend going out towards rue lafayette to eat.

  Une seule remarque par rapport a la proprete de la chambre: j'ai eu l'impression que la couverture sur le lit est sale. c'est dommage puisque sinon l'impression generale a ete tres bonne. autre chose: isolation phonique est pratiquement non-existante. points positifs: le personnel tres aimable, la salle a manger confortable avec vaisselle de table tres jolie; chambre et salle de bain spacieuses.

  Suited our needs perfectly. close to 3 metros. also close enough to walk most places (we walked back from the eiffel tower). plenty of places to eat nearby. if you just want a cheapish hotel near all the main sites the hotel du pre should meet all your needs.

  Hotel is not insulated at all. you can here what is going on not even in the next room to your one but even in the second one. i know that as we had 2 rooms. please do something about that as because of that you can loose a lot os guests. otherwise the service was good and the brekfast excellent as per france.

  E' un buon hotel per soggiornare. posizione buona per la vicinanza alla gare du nord. strada molto tranquilla. l'aspetto dell'albergo nell'insieme è molto accogliente. camere pulite, accoglienti e in corso di rinnovo. personale disponibile. e' cara la colazione (10 euro cd.) in quanto molto semplice. direi che per un soggiorno di qualche giorno è un buon rapporto qualità prezzo.

  The receptionist on the eves of 22 and 23 december was extremely helpful in all respects. especially so when he let us use the reception pc to print out our boarding passes for our flight back home (4 persons). this provided us with a few extra hours of leisure time to spend in lovely paris rather than at the dull c. de gaulle airport. a huge thank you! ps: such a service by the hotel would be very much appreciated by many customers, i'm sure!

  Les personnes à l'accueil sont aimables. seule bémol : si vous demandez qq chose, on vous répond toujours poliment, mais les personnes à l'accueil ne vont pas au devant du client, en expliquant les services : 'ai su à mon départ qu'un apéritif était offert, de même pour la connection wifi, il faut demander le code à l'accueil.

  We were at the hotel in the beginning of october. only sheets to sleep with on the beds, a little bit too cold. sheets were clean. isolation was very poor, like people in next rooms were in ours and smoke from other rooms came through our door! good location, near gare du nord (couple of minutes walk), takes about 25 minutes to the airport with a normal train (not the express), also near metro station poisonniere. the hotel was too sleazy for our taste! bryndis - iceland

  Air-conditioning is much needed and every single sound of the other guests can be heard between rooms - not good. our check out was at 6am and the man at the front desk was very upset that we woke him up and was completely rude and angry with us, not a nice end to our stay in paris, or your hotel.

  Upon our arrival at residence du pre, the women at the front desk was rather abrupt with us. but she warmed up over the next few days. the first of four nights we were placed in the smallest room of the hotel even though we had booked a double. they sent a 1/2 bottle of champagne up when learned it was our 10th wedding anniversary. we were given a larger room for the remaining 3 nights. there are rooms overlooking the street and rooms overlooking a small dark courtyard. we experienced both. we enjoyed the silence of the courtyard eventhough you could barely see the sky. there was a working blow dryer in each room and a tv (no satellite). can't comment on breakfast because we chose not to eat there.

  Staff were generally friendly, especially eddie. he goes out of his way to make a single traveller like me feel at ease. everything about the hotel is ok except the shower area is very small. and if one is claustraphoic, the lift is not recommended. but the room is clean and well-maintained and the street is quiet.

  Keine duschvorhänge und dann noch probleme, wenn man ein 3. badetuch will um die pfütze zu trocknen! man hörte sehr gut die zimmernachbarn und der lift stieg alle paar stunden aus. der lift fährt auch nur bis in den 5. stock. ausserdem war immer nur unten angeschrieben, dass er defekt war....!! treppen eng und uneben zum hinauf laufen. die frische wäsche wird zum teil am oben gelagert bis sie ins zimmer gestellt werden kann!

  Résidence du pré est un excellent hotel pour le prix demandé. la situation géographique (près de la gare du nord), l'accueil très correct et la propreté étaient tous tip-top. je suis un peu hésitant à mettre ce commentaire si positif, car je crains que celui-ci provoquera plus de clients - et ainsi une augmentation des prix! mais enfin, l'hotel le mérite. voilà.

  Tutto molto bene. la posizione dell'albergo è facilitata dalla vicinanza alla stazione gare du nord (a piedi 10 minuti) per cui per gli spostamenti non abbiamo avuto difficoltà. la pulizia della camera è stata buona così come l'ampiezza. unico neo il fatto che al momento di pagare la stanza il circuito visa non funzionava, ma abbiamo combinato ugualmente. consiglio quindi, dato che non mi era mai capitato, di portarvi appresso più contanti di quello che avevate in mente.
