  I wish i had gotten a welcoming email before my arrival. most us hotels do that to reconfirm your arrival. i made my reservation in march for august and things could have changed with the location. i called the penision they were very nice. this location is right outside of the jardan du luxemberg and the smell from the garden was so inviting and relaxing. bus stop and metro stops nearby.

  There was a strange sort of sewage pump in our bathroom. we left the windows open to try to combat the smell. apart from that, it was excellent -- great location, convenient, view of the eiffel tower from the window.

  La camera era molto piccola e la pavimentazione emanava puzza di muffa, che scompariva aprendo la finestra della stanza. per lo standard del turista italiano medio la camera non sarebbe male, ottimo per studenti che pensano di utilizzare l'hotel come base per visitare la città. accoglienza ottima e molto disponibili

  Ils manquent à la réception un présentoir avec les activités proposées sur le moment, comme on en trouve dans les hôtels standards. par contre, le réceptionniste s'informe volontiers sur le web, lorsque nous avons des questions spécifiques. c'est un service appréciable, lorsque le wifi est payant.

  Accueil très cordial ; la chambre n'est pas très grande mais très agréable. le seul point négatif, ce serait la douche. honnêtement, il ne faut pas être très gros pour y accéder, même en rentrant dedans sur le côté. a part ce détail, c'est très positif.

  This hotel is not really hotel more a hostal. it depends what people expect when they are travelling. if they expect a hotel then this is not what they want. we had a beautiful view on the eiffel tower but the room as such was a bit smelly because there was no window in the bathroom. we would go there again but we are easy with accommodation.

  It should be made clear that this is a 'pension' and not an hotel. as such it is excellent but it does not have the facilities of a hotel eg: shared toilet facilities although there is a shower and hand basin in the room.

  The location is great for the latin quarter and the metro lines. it is also very safe and in a very nice area of paris. although it is pretty basic, it is clean, safe, and perfect as a base if you are not going to spend a lot of time there. we also had a view of the eiffel tower from our room! i would definitely recommend it!

  Hotel is located very well, as it is circumstanced close to the city center and bordered on the jardin luxembourg. the jogging sessions in the jardin luxembourg, and the walk to the city center were a perfect start of each day. the room is small, but cozy. the rooms have a little balcony, no fridge, noisy neighbors, and nice ornaments on the ceiling. conclusion: great/good value for money, perfect for a three day trip for students/ starters. parking for three days at a vinci paring at blvrd montparnasse or saint sulpice is very comfortable (€54,- for three days). see in the neighborhood further cafe rotonde at boulevard du montparnasse (sophisticated interior and nice, traditional service), top floor bar at the montparnasse tower for an incredible city view and the church saint sulpice.

  Ce sera bien d'ameliorer isolation sonore (à l'interieure de l'hotel - des tapis etc, car on attend trop fort des bruits du parquet lors de deplacements des gens dans les chambres voisines, surtout le soir tard)! si non, le reste est ok. merci pour le bon accueil !

  Great location. rooms are what expected for such a low price. clean but a little run down. shower is very small. we were in room 27 which had a lovely view of the eiffel tower and a small little balcony. i would stay there again. the only thing that was a negative was that we had to share the toliet, which was in the hallway.

  The location was excellent and very easy to get to from the hotel. the front desk was very friendly and helpful and we felt very welcome. our only complaint was the sound insulation but overall it was an excellent place to stay and we would definitely stay there again.

  It's a nice pension with unbeatable location and good value for money. the room size is average compared with others i stayed in france. though you can hear sounds from next room very clearly. i would recommand it to my friends and i would like to stay there again.

  Great location and very good value for money. room was nice and big, and access was great! good directions given to hotel and overall a great base if you are not going to be spending that much time in your accomodation!

  The hotel was cheap but clean and was in such a great location. the street right near it had some great places to eat and bakeries. there was only 1 bathroom for the floor, but never had an issue with not getting access to it or waiting.

  Oui je le recommanderais pour un bon rapport qualité/prix surtout dans ce quartier de paris, mais en hiver il vaut mieux ne pas être frileux car le chauffage n'était pas au rendez-vous alors qu'il ne faisait à 22h que 4°c à l'extérieur. heureusement, il y avait des couvertures supplémentaire dans l'armoire.

  El hotel está situado en una magnífica zona de paris, con una boca metro a menos de 4 minutos. la habitación es cómoda y limpia, aunque no tuviera el water dentro (sí tenía lavabo y ducha). el único pero es que el parquet del suelo era viejo, crujía mucho y hacía un poco de ruido. pero en general, el hotel muy muy bien

  This hotel is a hostel and therefore very good quality for the money paid. location was extremely excellent and very safe. my only concern was the dim lighting in the stair cases when returning to the hotel in the evening.

  Je n'ai pas testé le petit déjeuner. l'accueil était cordial. la chambre qui m'a été attribuée n'avait pas de volet au niveau du deuxième velux. bien qu'au dernier étage, il y avait un peu de vis à vis.

  Que soit posé un rideau genre voilage à la fenêtre (ch.13) car il n'y a actuellement que le rideau opaque. on est dans la nuit ou en vis à vis avec les occupants de l'immeuble en face. je reviendrai car l'accueil est très bon.

  Il faut rappeler qu'il ne s'agit pas d'un hôtel, mais d'une pension / résidence. il ne faut donc pas s'attendre au grand luxe! mais pour ceux qui ne sont pas trop exigeants, c'est un endroit idéal, bien placé et pas trop cher.

  Our room had big beautiful windows that looked out on the street. the toilet down the hall was a "cultural experience" for my youngest son. the room was very clean and the jardin du luxembourg right across the street which was so enjoyable with children.

  During my night at the hotel, i was annoyed by a group of young americans who were very noisy on the same floor. it was impossible to sleep at midnight. i talked to them in vain. it was ilike being at a hostel. bad experience.

  This hotel is for the younger crowd, definitely no kids. one can hear every step of the person next to your room. as i counted, there are only two toilets in the corridor for about 20 rooms total.

  The staff were very unfriendly. one example- my girlfriend and i were slightly confused about a bus tour we wanted to take which said that it must be booked beforehand through the hotel. we called to reception and asked. no that is impossible was the only answer i got. the receptionist then turned back to his computer and we were ignored till we left. it was disgusting behaviour. we felt unwelcome throughout our stay

  Superlage, personal sehr entgegenkommend, würde immer wieder mieten. katastrophaler kaffee aber auch kakao. besser unten aun der strasse ein baguett vom bäcker holen (ausgezeichnet) und einen kaffee gegenüber beim italiener trinken. wir waren dennoch begeistert.

  der erste eindruck der in einem wohnhaus gelegenen unterkunft war eher ungünstig. die enge aif den fluren der wohnung stellte für mich ein problem dar. zusätzlich waren im flur alte matratzen gelagert. die möbel im zimmer sahen sehr abgenutzt aus. angenehm fand ich die freundlichen mitarbeiter.

  Our room was not renovated as were the other rooms on the front side of the pension - however we therefor recieved a discount! it wood be a huge improvement if the toilets were integrated in de rooms...

  We did not take any meals at the pension, so cannot comment on their quality. upon arrival, we found that both interior and exterior signage were poor. this made it unwelcoming from the outside, and at first it was difficult to navigate our way around once inside the building.

  Es war kein hotel sondern eine pension mit gemeinschaftstoilette ohne waschbecken. die wände waren sehr dünn und hellhörig, die dielen im flur knarrten, die fenster waren nicht schallisoliert. nur für leute geeignet, die bei viel lärm schlafen können.

  Not for seekers of luxury. no-frills, authentic parisian spartan accomodation. location unbeatable, practically inside jardin du luxembourg. plenty of street noise due to bus-stop and two adjacent schools. excellent bakeries, cafes, restaurants, pharmacy, wine dealer within steps. seek elsewhere for american style breakfast, or even good french coffee for breakfast. light sleepers request room not facing street. felt like home, minus the good coffee.

  Our room was large but very poorly maintained, pealing wallpaper, stained bedspreads, no decor... the pension is in a great location but in desperate need of an update.

  Une petite lampe allumée dans votre chambre qui vous attend quand vous prévenez et arrivé tard, c'est un petit plus extra. quelqu'un à pensé à vous, c'est sympas, et dans cette gamme d'hotel je n'avais jamais vu.

  La seul remarque a faire - la toilette est sur le palier. il faudrais le mentionner sur l afiche, sinon c est une surprise plutot desagreable. a part sa nous etions tres contents. et le rapport qualite pris est vraiment excellent.
