  Accès à internet payant : c'est inconcevable, même dans un formule 1, c'est gratuit !!! la salle de petit déjeuner est un couloir où tout le monde passe pour quitter l'hôtel la salle de bain est un placard avec un jour d'un cm au bas de la porte, l'insonorisation ne risque pas d'être efficace ! l'oreiller supplémentaire était tout taché ! la moquette est du siècle dernier et pleine de tachés !

  Ok for one night. hotel is cheaper than others in the area, but i'd rather pay more for a nicer room in another hotel. lift was absolutely tiny and if you were bigger than 100 kgs there is no way you would fit in the bathroom.

  Très bon emplacement, personnel à l'accueil très serviable. par contre la chambre 11 est a coté de l'espace consacré a préparer le petit déjeuner donc, le bruit des tasses s'entend tôt le matin. le sèche cheveux ne foncionnait pas, et il n'y avait pas de miroir dans la chambre.

  Pour un 2 étoiles,je trouve les chambres beaucoup trop petites.j'ai été décue car j'ai déja été dans des hotels sans étoile et qui étaient mille fois plus grandes!! 31 euro avec petit déjeuner compris en plus!! donc je m'attendais vraiment à mieux... cependant,meme si elles sont minuscules,les chambres sont propres et coquette. l'hotel quant à lui est vraiment bien placé.mais je n'y retournerais pas.j'en ai pas eu pour mon argent.

  In this day and age, not having free wifi at a hotel is unacceptable. to charge 5 euros for 45 minutes is ridiculous. it doesn't cost that much to install a wifi system that everybody in the hotel can use. a few hundred dollars for a few modems would provide enough bandwidth for everybody staying at the hotel.

  Je tiens à signaler ma surprise à 6h1/2 le matin d'être réveillée en sursaut par des bruits très sonores dûs à la préparation des petits déjeuners. ma chambre se trouvait au 1er étage juste à côté de l'endroit où se préparaient ce repas. je n'ai donc pas appréciée ce réveil matinal et bruyant.

  The staff at the front desk were generally friendly although it would be helpful if they spoke more/better english. when you're in a country where you don't speak the language, the hotel should be a reliable source of information/assistance.

  The hotel was nice, the rooms were clean and the staff friendly. what i did not like was the location of the hotel, which we had payed more for to get. it is very near the tuleries and the madeline shopping area but what that means is it feels dead in the evening. there are no cute pastry shops in the area, its all very shopping mall/ touristy feeling. so if you want to be really near the louvre and other sites i would recommend it but for me just too commercial of an area.

  El hotel está excelentemente ubicado. en general la gente en la recepcion amable y hasta servicial excepto la señora de la que habla un comentario por acá, la cual parece que tiene prisa, pero no deja de ser amable. la habitación pequeña, un poco anticuada pero muy limpia. la tv solo en frances, aunque claro, solo la vimos unos minutos antes de dormir. junto a un restaurant-bar tambien recomendable. se los recomiendo, vale la pena.

  Excellent location - almost all sites are a walking distance. nice little restaurant just on the corner from the hotel. on the bad side - my room facing the courtyard, and the room had a very small window, so it was quite dark and no view. but it was not a big problem as i spent most of the time out in the streets of paris:)

  Petit hotel fort agréable d'un bon rapport qualité prix...dans ces conditions,on ne peut pas s'attendre à beaucoup d'espace....le seul problème reste le stationnement quand on vient en voiture... le parking souterrain de la madeleine est très proche et facilement accessible,reste le coût suplémentaire!!

  The receptionist lady is unfriendly and she displays false politeness felt right away. you hear all the clacking of the kitchen starting from seven o'clock in the morning because it is situated near the rooms. if you ask for hot water 15 min before the kitchen opens they will tell you to wait even if it a simple gesture of hospitality.

  I would like to make a special mention about the receptionist/ daytime supervisor at the hotel. he was extremely pleasant, helpful and obliging- made all the difference to our stay (unfortunately didn't get his name - thank you so much, again!). the hotel may not be everyone's cup of tea (smallish room but this is average for paris) but location is excellent - at least 4 metros/ train stations within 5-10 mins walking distance; ideal for exploring paris and 2- 5 mins to all the shopping. price average-pricey for europe/central paris. would definitely stay there again and would recommend to others.

  Camere troppo piccole,doccia per nati sottili,a mio avviso il piatto doccia di un otel deve essere almeno un po piu grande,curare di piu' la prima colazzione,scarsa,la cortesia e' minima ma abbiamo costatato che in qualsiasi posto tu vada i francesi non sono per niente amichevoli,forse ce' lhanno con noi italiani.

  The best thing about this hotel is the location. we stayed there for a week and didn't use the metro once - pretty much everywhere is in walking distance and it's a good way to see the city. the receptionists were helpful and friendly. our room was very small but we were expecting that and it's fine if you're not planning on spending much time in the hotel. it was basic but clean and the towels were changed every day. it's worth asking for a room facing the road as they're definitely bigger than the rooms at the back.

  Voisins tres bruyants,impossible de dormir avant 4 heures du matin apres avoir appele 2 fois la reception, l"hotel n'est pas entierement responsable mais aucun geste commercial malgre nos doleances 86 euros pour moins de 4heures de sommeil, c'est un peu cher....

  Un problème pour ceux qui y viennent en voiture: il n'y a pas de parking pour le déchargement des bagages, ce qui implique que l'on doit bloquer le trafic si l'on a des bagages lourds à retirer de la voiture !

  We booked the hotel for 75€ per night. the hotel is located near a metro station with good and fast access to all important sights. the romms are ok, but when it is really hot in the summer airconditions would be nice. all in all, taking into consideration the price and location, the hotel can be recommended. the breakfast is not very good, better go to a brasserie fo that price.

  Though the room was very small and there was virtually no soundproofing, the value for money was good as the location was excellent. the hotel services were friendly but a bit hit & miss (breakfast didn't arrive one morning, towels were taken away by the maid but not replaced). i would stay there again however on a trip to paris as it was clean and cheap, and not at all tatty.

  Incredible location, close to 3 tube stations and shopping district. very friendly staff, all of whom speak good english. rooms are small but comfortable, with the en suite having possibly the best shower in paris. highly recommended. so too the hotels paris website. great service and ease of use; very reliable

  Excellent hotel in an excellent location--everything was perfect, from the room size to the cleanliness to the service, etc. because it is close to everything, we could come back in the middle of the day to drop off things/change clothes/recuperate from the busy day, which was great! the hotel made my stay in paris very enjoyable, and next time i go to paris, i will definitely stay here again!

  A bit tricky to find but near to the correct exit from madeleine station. arrived at night and welcome very cold but daytime concierge very good and friendly. very noisy currently due to work on neighbouring property. however room size ok and location very good, breakfast good also. hotel a bit old and tired but in a very good location.

  I'd recommend this hotel mainly because its location. very close to lot of interests monuments. therefore, if you're a budget traveller this is a very good place to be, but if you're looking for something more private, romantic, i wouldn't recommend it. there are better choices, for sure.

  Hotel madeliene-opera was brilliant. the receptionists were tres sympa and the room was equipped with most of the necessary things. however, my room was dark and a view from the room was not very nice and there was no coffee/tea maker in the room nor vending mashine in the lounge. it was inconvinient. except the matters, everything was ok and i enjoyed staying at the hotel.

  Hotel muy bien situado. habitación amplia, mayor que otros hoteles de mas estrellas. habitación limpia y baño con ducha en buen estado. desayuno sencillo pero suficiente para empezar el día. el ascensor no recomendado para aquellos con claustrofobia, muy estrecho.metro a 5 min. por el precio y las estrellas, excelente hotel.

  This hotel is in an excellent location, perfectly central to all the major sites, it is very basic and the room was small but it was very cheap and adequate for our needs which were just somewhere to sleep late at night and somewhere close to everything the next morning. there are also a lot of restaurants in the nearby streets.

  Very nice stay. i only wish they would reduce the price they charged to check my email (5 euros for 30 minutes was awful, and i really needed to use it, so i had to pay). by comparison to other countries and places, it was double or more the cost. and it was not set up to switch to english, so it took twice as long to figure out.

  I am told that our room 61 at the top of the hotel was unusually large and this was 'excellent' on size. the second room we had (21) when we unexpectedly stayed another night was 'average'. hence 'good' overall. brilliant, & quiet, location, though and staff were very helpful.

  This place fitted the bill fine. nice chap on reception and the room was basic as expected - you get what's in the spec and it wasn't rough around the edges. if you want a nice, quiet street, close to decent boutiques then this will suit you well. i'd consider for my next trip to paris.

  Hôtel bien situé, cependant un conseil éviter les chambres du premier étage car la préparation du petit déjeuner se fait à cet endroit ,ça devrait changer selon le réceptionniste mais en attendant dès 7h30 vous etes vraiment dérangés ,à part ce détail très bon rapport qualité prix et accueil vraiment agréable,à recommander
