  Very clean and fresh. good location with easy access to all the sights. friendly and helpful staff. rooms smallish but adequate and for the price in paris, very reasonable (although we did have a very good rate booked last minute online). no complaints at all and would stay there again.

  Accueil très sympathique. chambre occupée durant le séjour très propre car refaite à neuf. seul bémol : le bruit (circulation très dense plus gare juste en face). bien pour passer une nuit mais le quartier ne permet pas de sortir le soir.

  The staff is very friendly. when we asked them where to go for dinner or shopping, they are very nice and the place they introduced is excellent. but the price for staying over night is quite expensive.

  Pour les jours de pluie, suggérez à l'hôtel de faire un passage sec pour les clients en mettant au moins une planche surélevée devant l'entrée. nous avons eu les chaussures remplies d'eau et le pantalon trempé jusqu'à mi-mollet sans que la personne de la réception ne bouge.

  El hotel está muy bien localizado. tiene muy cerca un super, una pastelería buenisima, mc donald's y una parada de dos líneas de metro (la 5 y la 10) y un rer (el c) que tiene conexión directa con el aeropuerto de orly. está bastante céntrico (dando un paseo estás en la bastilla) y hay varios bares pegados al hotel que hace que sea una zona ambientadilla pero tranquila. el servicio de recepción es muy atento y puedes dejar las maletas el último día. limpian la habitación todos los días. la única pega es que la habitación es bastante pequeña (pero justa para parar pa dormir) y que la ducha se sale un poco el agua porque no tienen mampara. si tocan unos vecinos ruidosos pueden dar problemas porque la insonorización no es muy buena, pero yo pedi al reservar que fuera una habitación lo más silenciosa posible y nos la pusieron interior, así que no escuchamos ruido a penas. en general, genial, repetiría sin dudarlo.

  I had a nice stay, staff were all very helpful. however i had difficulty to sleep due to lots of noises, but receptionist people intervened and it was sorted out. if the hotel would inclide a refrigirator, and if breakfast was served, it would have been excellent. my greeting to the receptionists who have all been very helpful to me. radha

  Etant au 1er étage, je ne peux pas dire que le rapport qualité/prix est bon. il a vraiment besoin d'être rénové. nécessité d'ajouter des rangements !!! une semaine dans votre établissement avec les affaires dans la valise n'a pas été pratique.

  El hotel posee una excelente relacion entre el precio y la calidad del mismo, esta muy bien ubicado, muy cerca del metro (esto trae consigo algunos ruidos que pueden ser un poco molestos) lo que lo ubica mejor aun y la atencion y la predisposicion de los empleados es muy buena. yo visite el hotel con mi pareja y lo recomendaria sin dudas.

  We used this hotel for two reasons: price and location. we did not go to paris for the hotel, we went to see paris. this hotel did a good job of staying out of our way and giving us a place to sleep. the on-line hotel rate was very good. the hotel's own internet was free and good. the room was small and ordinary, but so what. it was clean. the only thing i did not like was the 8 euro breakfast. the first morning i thought it was free; once i learned otherwise, there was no point in eating there. the room doors did not have good sound insulation. but outside insulation was very good, and at night the hotel guests were quiet, so it was easy to sleep.

  Room very clean but very compact. bathroom very clean. night reception staff (male) not very helpful -was totally disinterested in giving any information on either hotel or visitors information . morning staff (female)very helpful printed our boarding cards and was very pleasant. hotel away from hub. although a metro right outside about 10 m away. did have tea making facility which was great as to get a hot cup of tea in paris is difficult.

  Needed a hotel near the austerlitz station as we had a train to catch later that night - your location was perfect!!!! the bathroom is really small, a shower curtain would help to prevent flooding the space.

  Bruyant sur le boulevard, c'est dommage d'y mettre les chambres les plus chères et les plus belles sur ce côté de l'hotel. le rer n'était pas le plus dérangeant, par contre les autres occupants de l'hôtel un peu +(aucun respect de ce qui dorment encore réveillé à 7 h 30), et vu l'épaisseur des murs et le jour qu'il y a au porte de la chambre. nous avons préférés l'hotel académie de bruges, où un affichage est présent pour le respect des autres. l'hotel académie de bruges **** étaient bcp moins bruyant et bien plus jolie pour le même prix !!! mais l' hôtel austerlizt est un hotel de passage français restera un français, aucun effort n'est fait non plus pour le petitdéjeuner, mais un personnel exemplaire. merci à eux.

  A delightful stay for me and my daughter, her husband and three children (ages 15, 12, 5). everyone on the staff was very friendly and helpful. we were all made to feel welcome. the location is perfect for walking along the seine, to catch the metro and the train, fun places to eat at whatever level of euros one wishes. my children and i stayed at this hotel 35 years ago, at another era. the changes are dramatic--for the better!

  Oui pour une nuit en transit entre 2 deplacements ; la chambre qui m'a été attribuée au 1er étage n'était malheureusement pas climatisée et donnait sur l'avenue au dessus du feu de circulation ce qui est très dommage ! autrement accueil et propreté ok.

  Eau froide suite a une panne, aucune reception de tf1 sur le televiseur, chambre tres, tres exigue (9 m2, il ne faut pas etre obese ! pour 110 euros soit une chambre "normale a 250 euros !), nous avons partages la vie "intime" de nos voisins de chambre. douche exigue, pas de placard... bruits audibles du metro avoisinant, tres mauvais rapport qualite prix. a ne pas recommander. le jour de notre arrivee le pris de la chambre avait "baisse" de 40 % suite a promotion via internet. 3 nuits pour 330 euros nous n sommes pas prets d'y revenir ! mauvaise adresse que nous ne recommanderons pas a nos amis. tres decus.

  At around 6 am there was a loud noise from the bathroom, which sounded like air trapped in the water pipes. later on there was a problem with hotel's boiler which meant that there was no hot water in the morning. when we checked out at 12 o'clock, the water was still running cold.

  Rien à redire, personnel souriant, aimable. de très bons conseils sont donnés pour visiter paris. chambre très calme ne donnant pas sur la rue. j'avais besoin de la proximité, gare d'austerlitz, hôpital pitié salpétrière pour une réunion, puis visite de paris (métro, rer, bus sont à proximité, ainsi que les restaurants) sans hésiter je prévois une nouvelle réservation pour cet été.

  L'hotel è in una buona posizione e le camere sufficientemente capienti, ma non è nulla di eccezionale quindi lo consiglierei a chi sta a parigi qualche giorno e va in hotel solo per cambiarsi e dormire. il rapporto qualità prezzo per me è stato ottimo ma perchè grazie al sito ho trovato uno sconto quasi del 50%. a tariffa piena sarebbe stato troppo costoso rispetto alla qualità offerta!!

  Nous avons trouvé que la chambre ne valait pas vraiment son prix : une isolation phonique à améliorer avec le métro aérien à moins de 100m (mais c'est peut être un manque d'habitude des bruits d'une grande ville?), et une salle de bain tellement petite qu'on ne pouvait même pas poser une trousse de toilette. en revanche, les chambres sont jolies, propres, et l'accueil très bon.

  Ayant occupé une chambre sur l'avenue de l'hôpital, j'ai souffert du problème des fenêtres voilées qui ne fermaient pas et du coup j'ai eu la sensation de dormir non seulement au milieu de l'avenue et de sa circulation mais également d'avoir le métro qui roulait dans la chambre !!! la façade de l'hôtel illuminée en vert se veut attrayante mais l'état des double-rideaux est tel qu'ils n'occultent en rien ces éclairages..... donc non seulement vous bénéficiez du bruit de la rue mais également des éclairages artificiels de la façade...

  Excellent rapport qualité/prix et hôtel très commode pour tout voyageur au départ ou à l'arrivée d'austerlitz.... la présence de restaurants comme du métro au pied de l'hôtel contribuent au très bon jugement d'ensemble ! j'espère retrouver cet hôtel dans vos chois lors de l'un de mes fréquents déplacements professionnels à paris ... ecore merci pour cette bonne surprise.

  I would say the location was the best thing because its next the metro station and its 30 minutes walk to the latine quarter. its a very well serveced area with few resturants around. we told that we got a bigger room but it was avarage size. the bed was small for a tall person. the room was clean and nice. it was a bit noisy but we were never annoyed by that. the staff were friendly and spoke good english.

  Abbiamo soggiornato 4 notti senza colazione. il rapoorto qualità/prezzo è davvero ottimo considerando di essere a parigi. sotto l'hotel vi sono parecchi posti in cui fare colazione o mangiare. metro di fronte l'hotel. unica pecca non funzionava il phon in camera (camere nuovissime tra l'altro) e in 4 giorni nonostante svariate lamentele non l'hanno aggiustato(fortuan che la mia ragazza l'aveva portato..)

  Ci siamo trovati davvero molto bene, il giudizio non può che essere positivo. non abbiamo fatto colazione in hotel xkè con 8 euro nei locali appena sotto l'hotel vi erano tantissimi shop dove mangiare. pulito e personale gentile (tranne un problema con il climatizzatore che non mi hanno risolto). raccomandato!

  Whilst the room isn't large [comfort room] and limited on storage - the bed is big and very comfortable. the quality and cleanliness of the room and en-suite is excellent - all as new. the air cond system is the best we've experienced in an hotel. with double glazing, the busy road outside being noisy isn't a problem. the staff were generally very helpful - especially catherine who deals with breakfast. her engish is perfect, having lived in london. we enjoyed 3 nights in the hotel, and would recommend it to anyone wanting a budget priced hotel within walking distance of the seine & notre dame.

  We were pleased with our stay at the hotel. our room was 'comfort' room and was very comfortable and clean. room was tidied up and cleaned every day. our towels were also changed daily but the sheets didn't get changed. towels were poor quality and fairly old. our check in was delayed by 3 hours and noone apologised. our kettle in the room was not working so we had to go to the restaurant to get our hot water every time we needed hot water. but still, it was good value for the money we spent. staff spoke very little english which was a bit frustrating at times. suggestions: staff can speak better english. someone can show you to your room which would be a nice welcome. working kettle would be better towels can be better quality and newer

  The nite desk man laurent speaks excellent english was friendly, helpful and an all around great resource. sole internet machine in the hotel lobby was defective. laurent directed us to an internet cafe on the other side of the bridge that was reasonably priced and workable. we choose a comfort grade room. room was modern and clean, though small. beds very comforatble. flat panel tv, outlets for internet if you have a laptop. gare austerlitz across the street for easy transport. our room came with its own thermostat. lots of pastry shops, a grocery and restaurants downstairs. hotpot in room. bathroom has handshower and curtain, lots of hot water! we really enjoyed staying here and would do so again.

  American woman traveling solo with backpack. perfect location to access train, metro and airport. i was all al day in the city so i appreciated the quiet room, large bed (i'm 6'), clean, contemporary remodel. best part was the hair dryer with an american outlet to charge my cell phone. the staff was helpful and genuinely friendly. yes the shower is small with no curtain... so fellow americans start to conserve water and stop whinning! suggestions: buy a boat pass and museum pass ( i did 10 in 3 days) right when you get there. i will stay here the next trip

  Accueil hyper chaleureux et merci à nadège pour son sens de l'humour,la chambre comfort était telle que sur le site,seulement très petite à peine la place de passer devant le lit, sdb superbe.mais chambre hyper bruyante a cause du métro aérien en façe et du bld de l'hôpital.sans problème nous avons eu une autre chambre le lendemain donnant à l'arrière donc très calme seul problème mini douche(pas de rideau) l'eau inondait toute la pièce.il n'y a pas de placards seulement cyntres et 1 planche toute petite pour ranger le linge à plat.la gentillesse du personnel compense cela.petit déjeuner continental copieux pour 8€.pratique le plateau de courtoisie pour se faire un café ou un thé.il faut savoir que les chambres les plus chères sont toutes à l'avant donc attention au bruit.le prix de base (hors réservation internet )affiché est de 200€ cela ne vaut pas le prix.hôtel à recommander pour une nuit pas plus a cause du bruit et le manque de place pour bouger et surtout ranger ses affaires.

  Une chambre ‘cosy’ est un peu serrée, mais en revanche l’équipement fourni est de très haute qualité. et le gâteau sur la cerise, c'est l'accueil souriant et chaud de toute l'équipe ! petite suggestion - mettre en évidence le 'staff box' (boite pour l'équipe) pour que les voyageurs peuvent exprimer avec de l’argent leur plaisir avec la réception. un ‘staff box’ est évident dans beaucoup d’hotels, auberges etc. en angleterre : le ‘box’ est gérée par l’équipe et non pas par la direction. ca permettre de diviser justement tout pourboire. comme ca, les personnes cachées (lingerie, service de la chambre) ne sont pas oubliées. une bonne idée d’outre-manche qui mérite d’être plus connue en france.

  Les insatisfactions que j'ai eu par rapport à cet hotel ce situe à 1-la dimension de la chambre, nous étions 3 dans la chambre et nous avons eu de la difficultée à entrer les valises dans la chambre. sur le site internet, la chambre paraissait plus grande que réelle. 2- le service internet(wi-fi) faisait parti des accomodations de l'hotel, cependant pour être en mesure de l'utiliser, nous devions descendre à la réception pour être en mesure d'avoir un signal satisfaisant. 3- à notre arrivée, la climatisation ne fonctionnait, il a fallu dormir 2 nuits sans avoir la possibilité de rafraichir la chambre. points positifs, la chambre était très jolie et la salle de bain était très belle aussi. tous étaient neuf et propre.

  Das hotel liegt an guter lage gleich neben metro und jardin des plantes. in der kälteren jahreszeit ist es mit dem lärm der strasse erträglich. aber wenn man die fenster öffnen müsste, dann wären die zimmer zur strasse viel zu laut. ich konnte das doppelzimmer zum preis von 60 euro pro nacht bekommen, das war o.k. aber ich denke, für die regulären preise wäre das preis-leistungs-verhältnis schlecht.

  Situato a 10 minuti a piedi dal quartiere latino e notre dame. questo consente di poter passare delle piacevoli serate nei locali del quartiere latino senza dover stare agli orari della metropolitana. costeggiando il lungo senna, in 10 minuti sei in camera. vicinissimo alla stazione della metro "gare d'austerlitz". mac donald , brasserie e venditori di kebab a 20 metri. classic camere un po piccole ma complete. wi-fi gratuito in camera, doccia e wc molto puliti. servizio tv. lo staff è presente 24 h su 24 ed è molto disponibile e cordiale. la colazione al prezzo di 8 euro ( a mio avviso un po cara ) è comunque completa e abbondante. mi sono trovato molto bene in questo hotel. lo consiglio a chi non vuole spendere molto ma cmq cerca la pulizia e la comodità.

  The rooms in the hotel are lovely, so don't be put off by the very bare looking reception area. it is in a great location, across the road from a metro station. staff are very helpful, we were able to check in earlier than the advised time, they gave good advice on places to eat in the area and they held our luggage for us after check out time. all in all, it is great value for the price if you are looking for somewhere clean and central but don't mind it being pretty basic.

  I was not happy with the size of the room, which i found to be the smallest of all hotel rooms i have ever rented in my lifetime. also, i found it a bit unnerving to be required to sign a waiver freeing the hotel from liability to the possible theft of my belongings from the room. however, the service was fine and the front desk employee was very helpful to me during my stay. i wouldn't recommend the particular room i stayed in but perhaps there is a larger room worth recommending.

  I wish that it would have been clearer that breakfast was not included and that the wireless internet connection was not working on some floors. the night receptionist was very helpful when asking for directions to places and he also looked up some places where we could dance.

  Elevator and air condicionated out of order!!! ourselves have to let the suitecases down from 4th floor to reception!!! the recepcionist did not adviced us about the "problem" with the air condicionated after when we arrived (check in).

  The area and the staff were nice and the room was quite clean, but the wifi was broken for the entire duration of our stay, which was distressing. the room, ostensibly large enough for two people, was also quite tiny.

  Zimmer sind neu renoviert und deshalb sehr schön und sauber, allerdings wurden sie nicht jeden tag gereinigt. unser zimmer war allerdings sehr klein (ca. 2,20 x 3,00 meter). der fahrstuhl hat auch nicht immer funktioniert. lage ist aber ziemlich gut - direkt an der metro und viele sehenswürdigkeiten können auch zu fuss erreicht werden.

  They gave me a room that has not been cleaned yet altought it was 1pm. poeple at the front desk very very very slow and lost ! no big towels were available.

  I would recommend this hotel to a friend but not to a family with kids because the location is not very kid friendly but i would surely recommend it to friends who are single as it is very near the metro and easy to commute.

  Very convenient location, good value for money. it was the only thing in the price range available on three days notice. the room size - especially for a "comfort" room - was a too small! if we had been staying for more than one night it would have been uncomfortable.

  We stayed two different nights and the elevator didn't work most of the time. (carrying our luggage up to our rooms was what made the stay from being just good not excellent. the first night was on the 4th floor in a small room. the second stay was on the 5th floor in a wonderful room.

  Renovation was occurring in the lobby area, which made for a few problems. elevator was not working when i checked out, so it was a rather long walk down five flights of stairs with a heavy suitcase. but, once the renovation is completed, that will be taken care of. i chose the hotel based on its proximity to gare d'austerlitz from which i was leaving the next day, but discovered i really liked the neighborhood and would stay there again, just for the location. it is really great to be so close to the jardins des plantes and the seine and metro and train stations, and the neighborhood is quite charming and not quite as hurried as some of the other neighborhoods.

  No wi-fi in the rooms due to reconstruction of the lobby. no one to help us with luggage and the elevator requires stairs up/down to your floor. the employees were great, but it was a pretty big mess in the lobby both days.

  Brouhaha omniprésent de la circulation urbaine et des rames de métro consécutive à une isolation phonique très perfectible. dommage.car la présentation générale et la décoration sont assez design et la chambre manifestement refaite à neuf. on apprécierait une tablette pour poser les objets de toilette dans la salle de bains.

  First day the reception on tv was not good, then it improved. the ac control didn't work but then started working after the second day. coffee pot present but items to prepare a cup of coffee didn't appear until the fourth day of stay. front desk people were very nice and helpful. room well maintained. work was being done on the stairwell the last two days of our stay. excellent location!

  El hotel está bien: el sitio es muy bueno (a un paso de la estación de austerlitz y de los jardines de las plantas). el trato agradable, la habitación recién pintada y arreglada... lo peor fue el ruido ambiental producido principalmente por los coches y trenes.

  We really enjoyed our stay and the room was great! the only bad thing was that there was not a drain in the bathroom so everytime we had a shower, the whole bathroom would fill up with water and even wet the bedroom carpet!

  Easy access to all parts of paris via the metro or rer hotel directly opposite austerlitz station. notre dame/latin quarter 20 mns. walk along riverbank.room a little tight for three,but you do not go to paris to sit in your room!definitely use it again.tip if you arrive at orly south take shuttle bus ( outside front door ) to pont de rungis station,then get the rer direct to gare d'austerlitz. 5euros- 35 minutes -total ,on uncrowded train.perfect hotel and location for most travellers.would certainly recommend it to our friends

  La seule chose négative de la nuit passée à votre hôtel est le troisième lit. en effet j'ai réservé une chambre pour 3 personnes; 2 lits ont été trés confortables par contre le 3éme lit (un espèce de sofa converti en lit de substitution) je m'y attendais franchement à autre chose.
