  Petit bémol pour le petit déjeuner: nous avons pris un petit déjeuner en chambre mais le plateau a été mal préparé, les pots de confiture avaient déjà été utilisés, le café trop rationné...

  Great welcome at reception from a charming young lady who immediately upgraded us to a superior room and explained everything very thoroughly. wifi internet connection in room was quite fast and free! tea and coffee facilities in room and large bed but room was not very big. glad of the upgrade as the normal double rooms must be quite small. bathroom was very nice, clean and quite modern. the bedroom had two sets of opening windows with juliet balcony and looked imemdiately out onto the magdelena church in madeline square. brilliant spot and we could also see the top 20feet of the eiffel tower and the serachlight at night! perfect hotel for a short stay and just 5 mins from the champs d'elysee and all the posh shops! metro stop just round the corner too...

  Lovely hotel in a great location. the staff were unfailingly helpful and polite. we would definitely stay there again.

  Employés très gentils, chambre coquette, service internet gratuit, bouilloire pour se faire des tisanes/thés, planche à repasser disponible, séchoir à cheveux, air climatisé, café madeleine attenant à l'hôtel, arrêt pour tour de ville (open tour) à deux pas ainsi que métro. très bien situé, on peut se rendre au louvre à pied. rue un peu bruyante mais les fenêtres fermées pour dormir, ça va. très satisfaite !

  The airconditioner was not working apart from the fan. not enough room to put luggage - had to put one case under vanity. would like to comment that all reception staff were excellent.

  Nice updated room facing madeline church, very clean and new bathroom. the restaurant next door was just great for lunch or an afternoon drink to people watch. bus stop beside church less than 1block & concorde 1block from front of church with great view of the oblisk. hotel is behind the church. would stay there in a minute

  The staff spoke english very well and helped with anything we wished or asked for. this is the best place to stay in paris! i have stayed there before and will again!!

  Check out time was up to 12.00pm. we returned from breakfast 10.15 am to find the maid in our room the bed aready changed. she was in the bathroom cleaning and changing towels etc. we had to sit and wait until she was finished before we could clean our teeth etc (which ment we used a clean towel) pack away our toileties before leaving the hotel. the maid made no attempte to leave the room when we returned.

  Le prix plein tarif n est pas à la hauteur de la prestation global heureusement que le prix était intéressant, le petit déjeuné n'est vraiment pas terrible ainsi que l' organisation. l'emplacement de l'hôtel est parfait et vraiment bien placé

  Dear sir/madam i would like to commend your staff at the front desk for their exceptional service excellence - they always went out of their way to accommodate our requests. i will definitely be back and recommend your hotel to others. however, i must add that in making the booking and arranging for airport transfers the service could have been better.. regards mercia

  By american standards the room was very small and spartan. bathroom needed updating in the room we were in. next time i would ask for a superior room rather than standard. at least in a three star hotel. but the hotel was a good value for the money.

  Our only complaint about our room was the bathroom, it showed signs of where and it could have been a bit cleaner. our room looked exactly like pictured. it was small but there was ample closet space so it wasn't a problem. the window was double glazed so there was no noise from the plaza, a nice surprise, but we could here voices from neighboring rooms. most rooms face the plaza with amazing views of the madeleine, but there are a few rooms facing side streets so be sure and request a plaza facing room. there is a pay parking garage across the street, very convenient if you are driving.the breakfast was fine but there are plenty of other options near by. for the same price you can have a hot cooked breakfast at the cafe next door.

  We felt the 5 euro charge to use the internet each time was over-priced and not explained to us fully. we understood the 5 euro for 30 minutes could be used in increments (for example, 3 times for 10 minutes each).

  The reason we indicated size of room to be poor, was largely to do with european rooms which are much smaller than we are use to in canada. however, the location of this hotel was superb which made up for the room size.

  The hotel was in an excellent location to visit all the sights and shops (and for all the necessary transport links though we walked most places). the room was of an adequate size for just a couple of days stay. the staff were friendly although they struggled to answer our questions - may have been a language thing - and it was great value. i would definitely recommend it to others looking for a convenient place to lay their head during a mini break.
